Curtis is no longer with Powerstation and works out of his own unit in Gloucester. Better off giving him a ring and getting a quote off him. 01684 275000

will do mate , it's a genuine ast stockist so should all be good
I'll be waiting round all day , so I'll be able to keep spying
;-)
and if I think there cutting corners I'll soon be telling them
lol

iv called 5/6 ast stockist and Curtis was the cheapest at £600 drive in drive out
, then I thought I'd look a bit local ( hour drive )
and called them and they said £60 a corner
1 1/2 hours labour (£60)
and £75 for full geo set up
so got it booked in asap ;-)

From personal experience and talking to others, coilovers tend to leak after ~25k miles or so.
I was never happy with how my FSTi handled with the ASTs, it was a lot better when I put back the OEM suspension.

I had my T20 Blob's ASTs rebuilt and all new springs fitted by Curtis in April 2012 (I took them to him and collected them a week or so later). Litchfields then set up the geometry for me.

I've only done about 700 (very easy, purely road) miles since, but the offside rear one has already shed its oil all over the garage floor. I rather hoped they might last a bit longer than that. I can only assume there's some damage that he didn't spot.

And I don't think the handling's up to much either.

5 x 100 PCD, they stand me at £1k and I never fitted them, just awaiting their return after a service and check over before selling, going up for £950 😉

It is I'm kinda gutted in a way because I never got to experience them, sold the car before I got them back and they won't fit on the new one and it's already sorted anyway, regardless of how they perform which is awesome they look fantastic
