lookig for strut rebuilders for my 1978 subaru brat
Can not find any replacement strut "assemblies" for my 1978 Subaru brat.
Have located replacement struts that will fit (1982), but they require new larger diameter coil springs and mounting hardware ect. Sooo I have determined that it maybe possible to rebuild the existing struts.
Need help finding out if that is true. The Gabriel FAQ site says that if the struts have a hex-shaped locking ring on top of strut body the internals can be rebuilt.
