accident damage help advice please?
hi guys , wondering if any of you can shed some light on a slight issue
about 2 weeks ago I crashed my 2006 hawkeye impreza after hitting oil on the road , I hit a kerb at high speed which took the passenger wheel off the car , it then hit a traffic island kerb in a forwards direction with the drivers side front wheel and slid to a stop on its belly , the passenger side is not a problem but the drivers wheel is in at the top like it has negative camber , what would be the cause of this? im unsure of the wheel position when the second impact happened , I know the bottom arm is bent back towards the arch but would this cause the camber effect? or perhaps a bent strut?
will post pics of the car in the morning as its daylight
will post pics of the passenger wheel now if I can work out how

If you've one that much damage to the wheel the chances are most if not all of the suspension components are damaged and bent and possibly the subframe too. You need to strip it all off the car and inspect everything really changing anything that looks bent.

thanks for the reply , I have had the car apart today , changed the n/s suspention setup in the expetion of the strut and that is now running straight , the o,s has been apart and defo has a bent bottom arm and appears to have a little camber , I cant see any bends but even after adjusting the strut bolts it still has that lean in at the top , generally im impressed at how well this car has stood up to a big impact and was able to drive away with just the spare(crappy) wheel on, is there any procedure I can do to check accurately the straightness of the offside strut?
cheers
