Base Geo settings for track
Hi gents new to this so be gentle. I've purchased myself a 97 classic Sti for a bit of track action suspension as I can see is stock but I'm looking for some base geometry for track use.
Would you mind explaining the above suggested settings, not because I disagree with them but because I too am building a track car and would like some base settings but like to understand the reasoning for the changes and what I may expect to feel in terms of the change in handling.
Cheers,
Andy.

For track, I would go with some positive toe all round
And keep the camber more front than rear - in fact max it out front, as much as can be 'wiggled' with all bolts lose. Same goes for rear too camber wise. Camber bolts are a good move to get even more than std
And as above, castor. Do the free mod and get another half a degree
