What would cause my steering to have a memory?
If I do a "significant" turn to the left, upon straightening up my wheel will be sat at "5 minutes to twelve" as the car goes straight.
If I do a significant turn to the right, the wheel will be sat at 5 minutes past twelve as the car goes straight...
The steering wheel seems to have a memory of the direction in which it last turned. No particular adverse handling characteristics though.
Anybody experienced this before? Possible relevant components are:
KW v3 coil overs
Whiteline Max C top mounts
SuperPro roll centre kit
Whiteline ALK
Whiteline 24th arb and adjustable links
Whiteline steering rack bushes

Thanks Jura.
My issue is slightly different in that the car doesn't pull left nor right as such - it's just that the "neutral position" of the steering wheel leans slightly in the direction of the last turn. If I let go of the wheel, the car will track straight (extreme road camber excluding) but the wheel will be slightly off centre!

Tyres currently are R888's - but I just yesterday put brand new ones on. (inc Balancing)
The issue persisted both with the old R888's and the new ones, so quite happy to rule those out... but on Sunday night I'll be putting my "road" tyres back on with my 18's so will see if it makes any difference.
No obvious steering play, and the car has done about 200miles since it's last Geo which was a full setup done by the shop that fitted my KWs and WL topmounts. They did corner weighting, and full geo all round - I'll find the printout somewhere but it's not an abnormal setup.
The alignment shop did mention that the bearings in the WL mounts were a little stiff and may need to "wear in" a little bit. Not sure if that could cause this.
