If the heads on that engine are shimless etc, that is an awesome engine spec, GLWTS!

JGlanzaV Shimless are the best because you can rev the engine further thus making more power and reliably as well.

I am well aware of that mate, I need some on mine . Would you split the heads at all? I dont think I am in a position to actually buy them but would be interesting to know how much you want.

Why do you not just re-loom the car? its not that hard to do...

The car is not family friendly running on meth, this is my only car, so need to free cash up to buy another vehicle, also i have spent a lot of time and effort building this machine, and the wiring problems i have had is driving me nuts, plus the wife has had enough so unfortunately my family comes first, i would sell the whole car as is but its worth more in parts.

Why dont you just get it mapped for normal fuel? I have dual maps so i can run mine on 485 without meth and 500+ with meth.

It just seems a shame after such hard work to break it when re-looming it is a pretty simple task and would fix your issues.

I would love to run dual maps but it has an apexi power fc with an avcr boost controller so only single map on this ecu.

Also i have been searching for full wiring loom for ages but no luck

There are plenty of subaru breakers on here who should have one, im sure i even saw one for sale on here a few weeks back. Dont loose the faith mate! Just get it retuned for vpower/tesco 99 if the meth isnt suitable

then when funds allow get a simtek/alkatek with dual maps and remap for the meths

EDIT - does this also mean you are still running a MAF sensor? and havent gone map? What boost are you running our of curiosity? Sorry for spamming your thread

No graphs rich at FB tuning told me its about 460hp i think he worked it out with the air flow meter voltages and it certainly felt like 460hp.
