S202 front seats are light weight & look much better compared to Spec C or WR1 seats. Plus its not like you come across S202 interior everyday!

Are you sure they are lightweight? I thought they where just black alcantara trimmed std sti seats.

S203 & s204 seats are the special recaro jobbies with hard backs to them

EDIT: tubby can type quicker than me lol

The spec c seats are lighter than sti seats , cant remember why , WR1 seats are normal sti seats trimmed in black ...

I have owned various amount of Subaru's including a S202 to confirm this!!

The S202 seats are slimmer & much lighter The trim design is also completely different, BUG STi seats are the same as blob STi seats. 06+ Hawk STi seats are slightly heavier compared to the BUG/BLOB seats, also have a different pattern.

Either way, GLWTS. some nice rare parts there

Front s202 seats are the same as the normal bug seats but in black with the stitching near the shoulder area on the back rest which makes them different from the blob/hawk etc...bug seats in general are a slightly different design to other newage seats, The rear bench is the only lightweight difference, A single bit of foam with no armrest, unlike the wr1 which is black with an armrest.

Bug

Blob

Bug seats meant to be the most supportive , blob went a bit wider and hawk even less supportive then a blob.... You might had V8 in you RA maybe ? As some of them come with non sti spec seats from factory?

Bugeye Sti and blobeye Sti seats are different.
The stiching on rear of seats is different and on the bit you sit on.The blobeye also has a black patch inbetween your legs which the bugeye doesn't have.
And bug seats are a little bit more of a "bucket" style seat and hug you abit more than the blobeyes

And worth about £250 Nate has Bug STi RA seats in his bug (identical bar colour) and they are superb ! he paid £250 back in 2007 IIRC lol

They are a great buy for someone but £1400, £1000 and you really are gonna struggle

In that case I may have had V8 from before. I see the difference though. I removed my front seat on the S202 & they felt very light, maybe its just my big biceps?

BTW, any pics of your S202?

Not better, Just different, The blob fronts are the same for the spec-c and Wr1 which were the same as the hawks as far as I knew, Was only the rear bench that was different
