The S202 seats offer better shoulder support than the later Blobeye and beyond seats, they're are without doubt the best seats bar the S203/204 Recaro seats.
Not worth £1000 if I'm honest but definitely worth a premium over the later black or blue STi seats.

Not exactly Garry , WR1 seats were normal sti V8 seats trimmed in black as these S202 to a normal bug Sti seats. Spec C seats are defo lighter as missing some part of the structure which normal Sti's have ... I'm gonna have a dig regards this tonight at work, got me curious now..... As i remember the spec c subframe and the seat position makes you sit lower then normal Sti seats as well... You need to compare yours to someone

i swapped out my sti seats for spec c ones a month ago and i can tell you they both weigh the same. I.e fecking heavy
seat position is identical too.
Sounds like someone has fed you another jdm myth and you took it all in.
i heard the spec c carpet is the same as the one the queen had in her toilet.

probably worth £500-£600,maybe 7/8 if you are very lucky and find the right buyer really wanting them.
not being rude or sarcy but honestly cant believe you actually paid £3000 for these, who the hell did you buy them off and what did they say that warranted you handing that amount of cash over for them??

Just fitted wr1 black seats to mine. Paid £450 which I thought was OTT but wanted them as my car is black. I'd prefer the bug ones as there the correct design for my bug, but would only pay £500 tops !! This is an offer so if you'd accept I'll take em.

thats only hatchback imprezas.
Some people on this thread are quoting things they have read or hear say.
me and gaz have done the conversion.
here is my uk blob sti with a spec c seat conversion
i did it myself and can tell you 100% the seats weigh the same and the position is identical too.
