SC46 Billet and TD05 20G
Hi all
A bit of history for you. Bought my first scooby in January, Bug, which was running a TD05 20G turbo and mapped by JGM to 372 hp, maps will be attached. Car was bought off Simon57 SN member and I believe the turbo was on the car for 45k miles.
Decided about 6 weeks ago to go for a forged bottom end and a better turbo This should read I decided about 9 weeks ago to have the works done, it actually started 6 weeks ago, car collected 3 weeks ago. Due to **** weather and and ABS fault I am still running it in. This doesn't really make any difference but nevertheless it was wrong.. With my limited knowledge of engines and really only knowing what I have read on SN I bought a SC46 billet off another member having only done 5k miles. Then I changed my mind and bought a Turbo technics s216 billet because the engine build was rated to 550 hp and I wanted a turbo that would get me to around 500.
So here I am with my old TD05 20G, also attached is a map I had done by JGM to remove a small flat spot and it hit 380hp, and a SC46 billet that I have no use for.
I have no real idea of value so have priced what I think is fair based on others sold on here.
TD05 20G - £300 + postage. Sold subject to full payment
SC46 Billet - £800 + postage.
I will try and respond to questions within a day.
Cheers
David

I agree! I did have a deal with the guy Log2 who has sent deposit. On the other hand I am pleased that another member pointed out that through my lack of knowledge I was out on my price? Ha ho, buyer is happy, I am happy. Not £450 happy though.
Did you really pay £1500, good price if brand new! If not Would have bought a new one for the difference.
Anyway! Sorry if I have upset anyone.

no, i was taking the **** as you changed your price like a *****.
you stated you priced after doing your homework, you put it up for a price right or wrong, stand by the price,
people tend to trust you less ! specially on here where its renowned for being full of flaky sellers.
if i bought a turbo from here, i would get it inspected to ensure its 100%.
i will of course appologise if you feel my words are harsh, but its how i feel and fancied gobbing off tonight.
