Apex twin plate clutch - Soon coming out of car
Hi guys,
Change of circumstances is leading to try and make the car more partner friendly as the missis will be the main driver for a while.
I am looking at taking the Apex twin plate clutch and lightweight flywheel (6 speed) out and replace it with a single so the embarrassment of stalling at junctions, pulling off, reversing etc. etc is gone.
The clutch is the same type as used on Duncan Graham's BC racing time attack car when it was approx 650bhp and has only covered around 350 miles, 200 of those done when a new engine was being run in.
Please note, this clutch is noisy when the clutch pedal is pressed and does have a sharp bite but is superb to use when rolling. The bite and noise may improve with a good few hundred more miles put onto it but going on current use this would take me at least another year to do.
The clutch is going to be removed in January as soon as I can source an alternative clutch and get the car booked in at the garage.
This clutch / flywheel cost me just over a thousand and I would be looking to selling it for £500 plus postage.
The clutch and flywheel are matched and can only be used together.
I would not accept any less as I would sooner keep it with the rest of my "spares" until I can return the car into the one I originally had planned.
Let me know if your interested.
Cheers
Rob

Sorry for the late reply. The kits were due this week but the factory were missing a couple of parts from our order so there was a slight delay. Its due to ship out today via UPS with 3-5 day lead time so we expect to recieve it mid next week
We place regular orders with ACT and its very rare for them to not have all the parts in stock but the order is all ready to go now.
