Default Swap Magnaflow 3" Cat Back For Blitz Nur Spec R - Newage

I have a 3" Magnaflow cat back on my Hawkeye and I am looking to swap it for a Blitz Nur Spec R.

The Magnaflow has only been on the car a week so I am looking to do a straight swap if anyone is interested? I have had a Blitz before and the Magnaflow is quieter and there is no boom at motorway speeds.

Link below to my exhaust, I didnt pay that price though!

The Magnaflow is 3" but it tapers to fit the OEM cat but it does also fit a true 3" downpipe as this is what it is connected to on mine at the moment.

How loud (quiet) is the magnaflow system? My car is away in the bodyshop until at least the end of the month, but as long as it is not factory quiet I could be interested - I quite like the noise levels of the miltek if that helps give you an idea

BTW - I assume it will fit a bug

I'm away until 26th and can discuss further when I get back if you're interested

Never actually heard a Milltek system, but its not factory quiet and is certainly louder than the Prodrive system. Once you give it some it does sound nice but still not loud enough for me.

Not 100% sure if it will fit a Bug though as when you go onto my exhaust link it seems to come up with different part numbers for Bugs and Blobs. Although I dont know why as I would have thought it would fit.

I've looked up a couple of youtube vids and it's not too quiet. I'm after one that will not get me any grief on the track but don't want a factory sound. How desperate are you to do this as I'm off in about 30 minutes and will only have limited mobile internet for the next 10 days

Quite happy to do some more research regarding the fitment when I get back

All the other systems I look up all the newage exhausts listed state they will fit bug, blob and hawk - I know the downpipe is different for the twin-scroll turbos

I can wait 10 days or so if you want but I would like to change it early September at the latest. As I would like the Blitz on mine by Rally Day (16th Sept) what condition is your Blitz in? Age?

When I get back I'll speak to the bodyshop about timelines, if you get something beforehand so be it.

Mine has some scuffs under the resonator were it has caught on my drive. The flange was cut off to fit a 3" downpipe but has been professionally welded back on. It doesn't have a bung. The hangers are all straight and it still fits perfectly. No holes or any damage that I recall to the backbox.
