The Perfect Track Day Camcorder... "On-board Footage"
Hi All,
I have recently bought a Micro Camcorder in anticipation of doing some track days this year. I got it delivered this week and Im blown away with the level of quality from such a small device, so I thought I would share it with you.....
I can get some more for those of you that are interested. I could maybe organise a Group Buy if its a big hit...
Here is some info:
Apparantly you get around 35min per 1gb of memory so the above Micro Card will last long enough for most track days..
Anyway dont take my word for it, here is some footage of it in action:

Cheers,

Least these one's done have the time and date on the bottom... seems like its an updated version of the one's that did so well last year (MD80), might upgrade mine to one of these as the time and date did my head in on the video's....
Hope next year they release a HD version lol

I'd just like to add that there are loads of MD80 copies out there and the difference in quality is considerable. You should expect to pay about £40 for a genuine MD80 and about £12 for the copy version know as the D001.
The D001 is still ok but memory card matching isn't straight forward. The best match I found was a Nokia memory card, I had a Kingston 4gb class 4 and it made the picture quite juddery. Now have a sandisk class 10 4gb and its better but not great.
Leading slightly off the subject
I have one of these for inside the car
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1080P-Bullet-V...item5888c9138c
But from www.hedcamz.com
Here some footage, watch it in full hd
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKOjr...layer_embedded
Hedcamz sell it list for £330 including 32gb class 10 sdhc. If your interest contact Carl and say Nick-280 told you to talk to him, you never know, he might do you a deal
Plenty but you can't put a price on that full on slide round the track and you can bet nobody saw it

Aye, it is a little extravagant but............ well; I don’t have an excuse
I had a Go Pro once and thought it was rubbish so spent a bit more and bought that.
It definitely aint a £12 camera and hats off to those that make that £12 camera because for the money, it’s right there
