V5 Type R Shell
DEPOST PAID.
Gc8 Impreza v5 type R shell in grey colour 86F steel blue code.
NOTE - 6 speed dccd set up is optional extra, read option 2.
Exhaust NOT included either.
please read it all thoroughly and check my project thread for any clarifications of parts used https://www.scoobynet.com/subaru-par...roject-11.html
Or my Facebook blog https://www.facebook.com/GC8v5R/
option 1 - full bare shell non rolling complete with bumpers, doors, boot and bonnet, all windows, door cards, full dashboard, Center console etc, interior trims, carpet, master cylinder. Rack etc And maybe a few minor bits left with car.
£deposit paid
option 2- all of above in option 1 plus 6 speed dccd gearbox TY856WN4KA (uk Widetrack/WR1 dccd box, so longer 5th 6th gearing, propshaft and matching diff, fully uprated with Beatrush gearbox mounts and bushes so you’ll get more transmission noise, ASP UJ bush kit for linkage and Beatrush main bush also ( I must say the common 5 th gear slight crunch I believe is there if fussy but you learn to master it on gear changes lol, never bothered me tbh. Also I’d say there’s a slight whine, now not too sure if it’s the input or output bearings in box etc or just the louder transmission noise due to uprated bushes etc.). Was going to have the box overhauled anyway later as that’s just me, like perfection and know it’s all good.
now these boxes are around the £2.5-£2.7k mark as the kit.
with the 6 speed dccd set up ready. (Or the 6 speed dccd set up will be listed at £2250 separately once removed).
FULL V5 in my name, shell has done around 80k off top of my head, when I got it like around 5 year ago or something, it had around 72k on and I’ve not done millions of miles since then.
obviously will need a trolley dolly to put on a recovery truck or a few strong men , either you can sort this or I can arrange something at cost but can discuss that at the time.
its not an immaculate shell as it’s used obviously as was my sprint track car.
I’ll list the imperfections that I think that’s wrong, to me are minor but always good to be upfront and honest.
I’m a long time member, we’ll known on the forums etc so I’m not dishonest like a lot.
small dent on passenger bottom door/wing where I went into the hay bails at blyton trackday showing off lol, (probably pull out with a good dent man), no paint damage.( picture included).
a tiny little dent on roof size of a 20 pence piece. no paintwork damage.
bit of rust bubbling had started on both rear arches (was going to get that done when back on road to make it perfect).
the passenger side seems worse than the drivers side, drivers side has litterly started showing through as you can see on pics.
All rest of arches are fine as is the fronts,
And that’s all the imperfections I can think of tbh, it’s a pretty decent shell apart from the above.
the shell is not ready unless you want the gearbox set up.
Welcome to view in person or put deposit down etc or buy etc as if I need to remove gearbox set up or not but you can discuss the options with me.
see my project thread for more info of car if needed, link at top of post.
Can also do a video or happy to do a video call also by appointment.
only serious interest only please. No time for wasters.
