Think several of us had predicted this might happen with a wife, baby (and Porsche!) in your life mate but genuinely sad to hear the project won’t see what would effectively have been part 2 eventually get finished; it’s been a great read and was a wonderful illustration of how someone really can make a car as good as they want it to be with the right skills, knowledge, time, and patience!
GLWTS.

Thnak you mate, means alot.
Sorry it never became what could have been. Its been a 14 year journey for me, maybe someone else can pick up the mantle and carry on?
Would make a serious road/track car or just a base for track, TA or hillclimb.

Frayz,

ive teas your thread many times over the years. Could you please give an update on the shells current state. I am aware there are photos but just to make it crystal clear please. Reason I ask is (simple). I have another Prodrive Bugeye STI and as hell that is compatable (but enhanced) is something I’m very interested in. Thanks in advance. To note, the only reason I ask on here rather than DM is in case anyone would like the info also. KR, Rory.

No problem mate.
I’m collecting it this weekend thereafter I’ll be getting photos of what I have and will be selling the project as a job lot.
Ie everything from engine, gearbox, dampers and Ecu. Etc.

I want it to go as one lot ideally.

Frayz from my own experience you will struggle to get the proper value of this as a whole entity. People seem to think it's a fire sale.
I would advise you to break the car and and sell the parts in logical lots. You need to do a proper advert with pics and prices also list the parts etc on appropriate groups on Facebook I sold a lot of the bits from my Car on there. If you need any info drop me a message on facebook.

Thanks Arch.
I’ll complile a list and a price for the components.
However I’d rather it gone in a job lot and the price will reflect that. It won’t be expensive.

Thanks Dan,

As they say, all good things come to and end, just not the end i would have chosen for the car.
Its been a huge chapter in my life and ive made and still have many life long friends from it.

For the most part the sale of parts has been crazy, ive had parts go all over the world from it. The only real big bits left are the full long engine, the catback Simpsons exhaust and the new rear AP Racing brake kit.
Sometimes i look back and wish i could have driven it just one last time. But in that situation i don't think i could have broken it for parts if it was all complete, however like this ive been painted into a corner and selling her off like this was my only option.

Its been a 14 year labour of love and im left with many great memories that aren't for sale
