Are these the rear number plate bulb holder brackets ?

Yes the complete unit ie bracket from the bumper support bar and holders and wiring.

I had a brand new full set (both) replaced on my STi 5 by RCM. (They price-matched ICP's price).

All I wanted to do was replace the bulbs.

But the problem is the lenses' 2 retaining screws: they rust to buggery. That's what happened with mine. So had no choice but to go to the hassle of replacing both assemblies. Which, I believe, is a bit of a ballache, seeing as they are fixed at the rear, out of sight: I think the bumper has to come off to get access to their retaining screws...?
