Version 3 WRX STI
First off i'm selling my wagon as spares or repair.
if your still interested read on.
Subaru Impreza Version 3 WRX STI Wagon / Estate in Silver.
6 months Mot until 22nd may 2014. the tax has expired.
Category 1 Alarm & Immobiliser, with Certificate for Insurance purposes - 2 keys and 2 alarm fobs
HPI Clear & V5 document in my name
Modifications
Current milage around 87,000 being a mixture of Kilometers and miles (141 on dash) although the engine has been rebuilt by API Engines previously, backed up with a receipt for over £3700.
VF34 Turbo upgrade with a receipt for £687
TSL Thudercat down pipe, TSL Group N back box & De-cat centre section with a receipt for £722
Blitz Air Filter
Magnacore Leads
power wise i'd expect it to be running around 310 BHP
I've had a look under the carpet at the ecu which looks standard, nothing shows that its been upgraded but i aint no mechanic so take it as unmapped ??
17" Bronze Rays lightweight alloys with Dunlop sport tyres all round all with plenty of tread.
Uprated drilled discs & pads
The Bodywork looks all Original Paintwork (no repairs) so obviously there are age related marks / small car park dents.
The rear left arch has started to go slightly but not that bad (see pic)
Brighter halogen headlight conversion.
This is an original Version 3 STI with all the extras, carbon fibre strut brace, STI seats, High and low level spoilers, folding mirrors etc.
Service History - Stack full of old receipts for thousands of pounds and 11 or so old mot certificates.
Generally in good condition all round, the interior has no rips, it has a later model Momo steering wheel fitted to replace the boring standard one, the plug for the airbag was different so the light displays on the dash. If you changed the plug the airbag should work.
bad bits
The clutch is slipping & the power steering pump i think needs changing as it get heavy sometimes but priced accordingly allowing for these to be replaced.
opened the bonnet today and the pull did'nt go back so don't know if it snapped or just sticking, will try to look tomorrow but i'm no mechanic.

I bought this for myself about a month and half ago but i've too much work on at the moment and decorating the house, so no spare time to sort the above.
I'd be interested in a swap / px with cash either way for a standard /ish impreza.
i've tried to be honest so as not to waste either your or my time, if your handy with a spanner will be a cheap car for someone.

I'd be surprised if API rebuilt the engine and didn't have it mapped, especially given the fact its had a turbo change. You may find it has a ESL board fitted inside the ecu. Worth a look as without it you'll be putting off 99% of potential customers

i contacted david at API, they have no records as it was rebuilt a while ago, and it could have been changed from then.
I'll open it up over christmas when i'm off and have a look.
will it say something inside ? what am i looking for anyone ??
