Default Impreza WRX STI Type R

1997 WRX STI Type R
4 UK owners
12 months MOT - DVA MOT until 08/07/2013 but will be given fresh VOSA Certificate for the sale
8 months tax
Just under 60k miles
Huge history.
every MOT since import, most tax disks too!

Confirmed Closed Deck Block. Baffled sump. Full decat exhaust system with a NUR Spec exhaust. New powder coated manifold. VF34 Turbo with new turbo blanket. Genuine HKS dump valve. Car is running mafless with Blitz induction kit on a Simtek ECU and Jolly Green Monster remap.

Recent work includes:

New water pump
New Thermostat
New gates Timing Belt
New Power steering belt
New oil sensor
New map sensor
New lambda sensor
New performance Silicone hoses with coolant replaced.
Air conditioning removed
Uprated injectors with new seals
Both front calipers have been refurbished with stainless pistons and seals from Scoobyworx. New front pads

Car is Sonic blue 74f paint code which has two stone chips on the bonnet and a few age related marks but has NO orange peel, NO dents ad NO rust. The rear arches are clean with no issues. The car is sitting on Weitec coilovers and 18" revolution alloy wheels which only has budget tyres but all have around 5mm. The front has drilled and grooved discs.

The car has electric windows. Aftermarket kenwood CD player. I recently fitted Hawk STI front and rear seats which match the exterior really well. Above the stereo are 3 Lamco gauges. There is also a Pillar boost gauge.

The car has Standard Type R dccd gearbox, folding power electric mirrors, rear tinted windows and rear wash wipe. All work exactly as they should. At the front is a set of crystal headlights (I have sidelights to fit) and a set of sickspeed horns which are easily removable if not to your taste.

Think that's about!

Any questions, let me know!!

£5100

Prior to my purchase it was carried out by Roger Clarke and RB Motorsport

I've had the recent stuff done by CSK Tuning and GI Motorsport

Cdb? You will need to show what car it's come from and what has been done to the engine.

Apparently these hatch marks prove its a CDB?

That car would of had an open deck block from the factory, hence my engine question earlier.

The only true way of knowing is to open it up but another almost sure fire way is to check the block near the starter. See pic......
If theres hatch markings there then its almost certainly a cdb.
