FS: Impreza P1 #0518 -------- SOLD----------
SOLD PENDING PAYMENT CLEARING
Sadly the time has come for me offer for sale without a shadow of doubt the best Impreza I have owned and will no doubt regret this in time but I feel I need to scratch the Evo itch. i also can not warrant having a car that's only covered just over 2k miles in 15 months and spends most of it's time sitting in a garage which I may not have the luxury of after the summer!
The car was first registered 28.10.2000 as a X plate but now on private plate P1 FKU. The mileage has just crept past 62k with dealership stamps until 2005 when the car was taken to the Isle of white (no Subaru dealership on island). The car was looked after by a Group N rally firm whilst there. In 2008 the engine was rebuilt due to a spun bearing @ 47000 miles with the following parts being used and with a A.P.I invoice-
Forged Sti pistons
Nitrided crank
Sti V9 rods
ACL race bearings
Standard Sti piston ring set
ARP head stud set
Gasket and seals kit
Cambelt
API modified oil pump
New oil modine
Fuel filter
the service books shows-
5/12/00- 986m
19/5/01- 2777m
9/11/01- 4306m
11/4/02- 5350m
8/10/02- 9005m
8/4/03- 12566m
15/10/03- 17741m
21/4/04- 22138m
14/9/04 24802m
16/06/05- 27212m
Maps(P1woc member) then bought the car on the -12.08.05, and did the oil changes himself and made a note on the back of service book- loads of oil receipts from Opie oils with mileage and date.
17/12/05- 31,100
15/7/06- 35,021
27/2/07- 39,731
Engine rebuilt in 2008
The car was kept at standard power and spec right upto 2011-12 when I bought the car @ approx 59000 miles. Since my ownership the car has had a few mild mods carried out to improve and safeguard the engine. I had a new timing belt kit fitted along with a water pump, PFR7B plugs, fresh coolant and Silkolene pro s 10-50 fully synth oil. The car was fully inspected by Extreme scoobies who I have used for over 10yrs now and told the car is in very good health, the engine had a compression test and it showed all 4 cylinders with equal high figures. Over the past 12 months I have carried out a few mods to improve the performance and safe guard the engine in the process. The car is mapped for 99ron by Duncan aka Racedynamix who will vouch for the engine in great shape and being very capable or more power.

The car has 7 previous owners, first registered at dealership it was owned by a guy in Surrey(12 months) before going back to the same dealer and then it eventually make its way to the IOW. The previous guy (user name is MAPS on P1woc) owned it for 6 yrs, it was originally in his wife's name but changed due to divorce. He was also friends with two people who owned the car before him on the IOW.
Also just to add that the car is still on its original paintwork and hasn't had any repairs or accidents.
Not bad for a 13yr old car

Right to answer a few Q's that's been asked by PM-
I am not looking to take a newage car in Px, or classic shape as I want a change.
I won't accept a quick sale 8500 but thanks for the offer
I had forgotten how annoying it was selling a car!

I was taking the plate off and doing a deal with Stu148 for his Evo but he sold the car instead.
