Selling my 380 BHP Hawkeye STI
Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type UK.
In WR Blue with Gold Revolution Millenium Wheels. 17,500 on odometer.
The car has been fitted with an uprated Air Filter and a 3 Inch Milltek Stainless Steel Exhaust.
It has been remapped by Andy Forrest and is producing approximately 380BHP.
I am the second owner and have had the car 5 months. The previous owner bought it new. He is a Subaru Impreza Specialist and owner of a development company called Ace Performance cars here in south Wales. Therefore this car has been maintained to the highest standards.
It has a 12 month's MOT and 6 months tax. It also has brand new discs on the front and new pads all round.
The Cam belt and pulley were recently changed also.
There are a number of people in the South Wales Subaru Impreza Community who can vouch for the quality of this car. You only need to go on the Welsh section of this Forum and ask about the car there. Equally, Ace Performance Cars can also provide a detailed description of the car.
The previous owner hardly used it and spared no expense on maintaining it. That was part of the appeal for me when purchasing it. This car is ready to be used and enjoyed. You will not be left wanting more power and you will save yourself many pounds by not having to modify it further in the endless pursuit of more horse power. This was another reason why it appealed to me. It has received a few sensible modifications and remapped to release a sensible amount of horse power, which strikes a balance between impressive performance and every day use-ability.
When I bought the car it had a World Rally Car type spoiler fitted to it which I removed. I have had 3 Imprezas and have de-spoilered them all. The holes in the boot are blanked over with vinyl so whoever finally buys the car has the option of fitting a new spoiler or having the holes in the boot welded shut and resprayed. My asking price will take into account that the new owner will need to sort the boot out.
My wife is pregnant with our third child and for this reason I want to free up the money tied up in the car and use it on other things. I am under no pressure to sell this car and am choosing to do it so I am not looking for a quick sale at a reduced price.
I am looking for around £12,000 but I am open to sensible offers.
The mileage will creep up slightly as I use the car most days.
I will post some pics once I can sort out my Photobucket account but in the meantime if you want to see pics you can access the advert I have put up on Piston Heads here
