Default Black 03 Blob STI PPP £6.5K ono

Looks like the time has come to part with the Scooby, the dreaded house forces sale thread!!!!

As is stands my circumstances look to be changing and I cant afford the luxury of both a roof over my head and the running costs of the Scoob, and before anyone says it yes I have contemplated just living in the car

The sale bit.

The Spec list:

Impreza STI 2003 with Factory fitted Prodrive Pack (PPP) recently fitted STI 05+ Rear arches and bumper. Thought to be around 300Bhp

Mileage 87500 miles - used every day so this will be going up slightly
5 month Tax
11 month MOT
4 Brand New Yoko Spec 2 Tyres

Full Service history when I bought the vehicle including the first cam belt change at the dealer, since my ownership (3years)
I have serviced the car myself with HKS Parts - oil filter and Panel filter, always use Castrol oils, car is always filled up with V-power.

The Wheels were powder coated last year in a similar Colour to that used on the RB320 Scoobys, no curbing ect..ect..

The cars fitted with BC Racing Coilovers, recently had brand new rear top mounts, also just fitted a 3" Japspeed cat back system.
Brand new HT Autos STI rep front lip.
Zero Sports lower grill
STI Spec C Gear ****
Alpine Head unit with iPod cable

Bad points:

Slight crack in the paint on the rear bumper, also a slight paint reaction on the bumper, basically could do with re painting but isnt the end of the world.

getting ready for rear Anti roll bar bushes
Hand brake needs adjusting
Front Brakes - disks and pads getting ready for a change (Godspeed £130)

Im after £6500 ONO

Im not in a rush to sell so please dont waste your time making silly low offers.
Im not breaking the car so all parts will be sold with with vehicle.

If you are seriously interested please contact me either by PM on here or email wogger03@hotmail.com

Viewing welcome - Located in the S80 area - Notts / Sheffield / Chesterfield

Thanks for looking

PS the number plate wont be staying on the car

Market's shot mate, only things selling at things being given away at the moment.

I just missed out on a mint mica black 04 STI, 1 owner 34K miles FSSH, for £6100 on ebay. Which goes someway to showing where prices need to be at to sell at the moment.

Even though i've only just put mine up i don't think i'm going to get much luck either.

I dread putting it on ebay. Even though its a good way to get the car seen it just attracts so many timewasters.

Amazed at some of the mails from the ad on this forum mind. People who have just stopped by and seen it.

Best one yet is "What year is it?"

Class.

thats what scares me I cant believe what the market for these things is like at the minute!! I would have ripped a blokes arm off for 300bhp 150ish Mph car for 6.5K!!

If it doesnt sell then, O well looks like ill have to keep it its not the end of the world.....

New clutch at any point mate? Not having a dig but if I was looking at buying the mileage would warrant one being needed soon and would put me off.

Unfortunately it's the way it's going with all performance cars at the moment. People can just about afford them as it is without a £400 bill waiting in the wings. Look at E46 M3's having Inspection II services or new brakes to help them sell.

As said NOT having a go just trying to help him make his scoob more appealing to a buyer.

Oh and I'm on my 5th so I feel qualified to comment.

good point made, but the honest answer is no and the reason being in my opinion at the moment theres no sign of it slipping or being an issue so I havent replaced it for the sake of it, its one of those things if it needed doing or was causing an issue I would have fixed it.

and without trying to kill my for sale thread off totally I would probably advise anyone buying my car to have the cam belt changed just to be on the safe side.
Just being honest, in my eyes its a nice car at a reasonable price that could do with a couple of quid spending on it to keep it that way.

Thanks for the comments all advice is greatly received

Matt
