UK Turbo 2000 - MY99 Wagon
For Sale – MY99 Impreza Wagon - £900
Before listing the details of my car, the buyer needs to be aware it has a few, small mechanical niggles.
The handbrake is sticky, I have had this looked at and have been told by the RAC that it is a simple fix in the internal handbrake on the drivers side. Some springs in the mechanism need replacing, at a very small cost.
The Tein coilovers on the front need setting up properly. They were checked over for an faults during the MOT and were passed with no worries. Though the have a rattle on certain bumps on the road (only on the worst Britain has to offer) I was told this is because the preload needs setting up I have been told.
The front passenger fog light needs replacing. (thanks to an uninsured French man with a tow bar and poor eye sight/hearing!!)
The price of the car reflects these issues and I have been totally honest, in the hope that the car is bought by somebody willing to fix it up and enjoy it.
I drive a van at work now, so haven’t used the car much and kind of lost interest.
The car is a 1999 UK Turbo 2000, with 132000 miles on the clock.
Full History
MOT Until October 2012
Tax until the end of March 2012
The car has no rust anywhere and is in general, in great condition.
There are a couple of scratches here and there as usual with older cars.
As it’s a 99 reg it has 4 pot front brakes.
Tein Super street coil overs on the front, standard suspension at the back.
A Prodrive ECU plug and play remap.
A full, stainless exhaust.
An STI intercooler and Y pipe.
STI Front strut brace
A full crystal lights pack at the front and STI lights at the back.
Recent tyres, discs and pads.
There are a few more modifications that I can’t remember from the original advert, which was on Scoobynet.
They were small Mods, I will try to get hold of the advert from my other laptop when I can.
I’m happy to take photos if I need to clarify anything for people.
As I say, I lost interest in the car and don’t have a huge amount of Impreza knowledge. So would like it to go to somebody more enthusiastic, it drives brilliantly and feels new.
With a few tweaks it will be back to an awesome car.
Cheers, Tom.
