Default SUBARU IMPREZA V3 WRX STI TURBO EXCELLENT CONDITION & STANDARD - £3850 BARGAIN!

SUBARU IMPREZA V3 WRX STI TURBO EXCELLENT CONDITION & STANDARD

Here i have for sale my WRX STI Version 3 Impreza. I've had the car since 11th August 2011 and purchased it from Graham Walker LTD. in Cheshire. The car was sat in their show room with new Imprezas due to its condition and it being a rare example. I fell in love with it and wanted it straight away. After checking the documentation i noticed the car had, had a full engine rebuild by NKS Performance in Wrexham. I spoke to them on the phone and they couldn't speak highly enough of the car and told me the rebuild was still under warranty until November 2011. After test driving the car i noted there was a problem with the gearbox. Graham Walker LTD noticed this to and told me to get some quotes for a new box. I spoke to my local Subaru Specialist (ScoobySpares in Fleetwood) and they told me they could put a TY754 2004 Gearbox in the car for £700. I told Graham Walker of this and purchased the car for £3800 with 3months warranty. I took the car to ScoobySpares and had it fully serviced with a new gearbox fitted for £1260.00 (20/8/2011). On 22/08/2011 i took the car to GreenWoods of Blackpool to have a high end iPhone/iPod compatible Kenwood CD player fitted with BlueTooth Parrot (hands free) costing £354.99. On 2/09/2011 the car went back to ScoobySpares in Fleetwood and had a new downpipe and decat fitted, Version 5/6 front bumper, P1 front splitter, Walbro 255 high performance fuel pump fitted, had the car full under sealed and a new washer pump and bottle fitted for a grand total of £1068.00. On 3/09/2011 i took the car back to GreenWoods and had new front and rear speakers fitted. These aren't ugly chavvy ones and have just replaced the old ones (£185.00).

As you can see in the last few months of owning the car there has been no expense spared. The car has been loved and cherished for the last 4 months however i must now sell the car. The only reason i am selling is me and my wife have just moved into our new flat and money is a bit tight at the moment. The car was originally purchased as a bit of fun and a weekend car, however since moving i now need to drive the car to work everyday and it is costing too much. Also, we live in Blackpool on the sea front and the car will just get battered by sand and salt water! This is too good of an example to allow this to happen. The other thing is my insurance is up for renewal in January and i don't have £900 to fork out. Therefore i am looking at buying a cheap run around that will get me to work and back for under £700.

From what i can tell the car was imported from Japan in 2007 and has little history before that. I have a folder of paper work from the UK however due to the car having its engine rebuilt before Graham Walker getting their hands on it i don't think it really matters as it is just like brand new. The clocks say 118,000 KMH which = to approx 75,000 miles on the chassis and then engine was rebuilt approx 3,000miles ago - it has since been fully serviced by me and Graham Walker's before me

I have only ever run the car on Shell V.Power and have receipts to prove this. The cars clocks are in KMH but the speedometer has been changed so at 30MPH the needle is showing 30KMH. My Impreza is always warmed properly before driving to higher revs and if i ever put my foot down the car is always left to tick over for at least 5minutes before killing the ignition.

The interior is in excellent condition and the exterior is perfect, it has the odd stone chip but for its age it is simply stunning. People always comment on how clean it is and what a nice example it is. Andy at ScoobySpares can vouch for its cleanliness and so can the lads at Graham Walker LTD. The wheels don't have a mark on them and look brand new and the tyres all have good tread. MOT is until August 2012 and Tax is due at the end of February.

She has a Hornet/Cobra Thatcham Cat 1 Alarm and Immobiliser which reduces insurance and keeps the car nice and safe. I was wary about purchasing an Impreza privately as a lot have had a hard life however when i saw this example i had to have it. Please don't let the fact that this advert is private put you off or the fact i've only had the car 4months. I am by no means a chav or boy racer, i just like cars and purchased this as a bit of fun, however when i have to drive it every day the only person having fun is the Petrol Station. I am a 24 year old young professional and my profession is a Nuclear Scientist (so I'm a bit of a geek).

£3850 Open to an Offer

Here is the full spec of the car:

Engine

• Engine Rebuilt 12/11/2010 - everything replaced (receipt to prove)
• De-cat downpipe (heat wrapped)
• Full Exhaust System - not too loud (can't remember exact brand (powerflow?!?) but Andy at ScoobySpares said they are excellent and are really well made)
• Dump Valve
• After market air filter
• Walbro 255 l/h fuel pump

Transmission

• Exedy Clutch
• TY754 2004 Gearbox

Interior, Security

• Hornet Cat 1 Alarm & Immobiliser
• Kenwood KDC-BT 61 U
• Front & Rear Pioneer Speakers

Exterior

• De-tango’d
• Crystal sidelights & indicators
• Clear side repeaters
• P1 Front Splitter
• V5/6 Front Bumper
• V5/6 Rear Spoiler
• 17" Gold Speedlines (unmarked - like new and plenty of tread)

There is probably loads i have missed but all i can say is this car is an excellent example and is an extremely good buy for anyone. I am in no rush to sell and if it isn't gone by January i won't be renewing the insurance and the car will be sat on the driveway. I will be keeping the car at my Fathers house as i don't want it Sand/Sea blasted and want it off the road. Viewings will take place there and if you would like to see it please don't hesitate to contact me. If you require any more photos or have any questions about the car please ring or text me on 07540634018 or email me on here.

I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for looking.

Luke

After speaking with the Mrs. and working out our finances we've worked out that i could sell the car for £3500 and still be able to get a run around, insurance and pay off some bills. I've had 7 offers on the car via text and eBay from £2750 - £3250. If i was to get £3500 cash i would let it go this weekend. But after that i will hold out for £4k in the new year.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your interest.

The front bumper was changed due to personal preference - i prefer the V5/6 front end and the p1 splitter. There has been no accident or bump and Andy @ ScoobySpares will be able to vouch for this. He may infact still have the original v3 front end and splitter.

The engine was rebuilt by NKS Performance in Wrexham - 01978 751328 is there phone number. Ask to speak to Calvin if you want to speak to him about the car, Arran was the owner who had it built. All parts were new apart from the gearbox. There is a receipt to go with it. The gearbox has since been replaced by ScoobySpares.

Thanks,

Luke.

I said i'm in no rush to sell but i actually need this gone before December 24th. So open to any sort of offer try me - this weekend gone would be perfect. Need pennies for xmas pressies for the Mrs. and to clear off some bills.

Some of the offers ive previously declined i may now be in a different position.
