Default Testing the water - MY00 Impreza Turbo 2000

Hi guys, i'm just testing the water as I may possibly be selling my beautiful Impreza Turbo 2000. I have owned 5 Imprezas and this is the best all rounder out of all of them. I'm only thinking of selling up as a freind has a rather nice Type R that i've been after for a number of years and he may be looking to sell it.

My car is a MY2000 Impreza Turbo 2000, the last of the classic shape with the bigger four pots, remappable ecu, mid-level spoiler, stronger ty754 gearbox and rare Mica red colour (only availabe for that year).

The car has been pampered it's whole life, being owned by real enthusiaists, and has covered 70300 miles with full service history. It is in beautiful condition both inside and out.

The car is running 330bhp/330lbft torque. It has...

Engine

-Larger VF28 turbo from a P1,
-Newage TMIC with undertray,
-Japspeed tubular headers and up-pipe (Thermotec wrapped),
-Japspeed full exhaust with sports cat (downpipe Thermotec wrapped),
-Walbro 255 fuel pump,
-Ecutek remap by Andrew Carr,
-Godspeed disks all round with fast road pads,
-Simota panel filter,

Exterior

-Crystal light kit
-Sti rear lights
-Sti alloys finished in Anthracite with Goodyear eagle F1's.

Service History

Service 1 - 1105 miles 17/03/01 Chandler Subaru, Grantham
Service 2 - 2496 miles 15/12/01 Chandler Subaru, Grantham
Service 3 - 3835 miles 10/01/02 Chandler Subaru, Grantham
Service 4 - 7777 miles 29/07/03 Lucas of Mansfield Subaru
Service 5 - 12644 miles 06/04/04 Lucas of Mansfield Subaru
Service 6 - 17079 miles 14/10/04 Lucas of Mansfield Subaru
Service 7 - 27868 miles 11/10/05 Lucas of Mansfield Subaru
Service 8 - 31430 miles 03/04/06 Lucas of Mansfield Subaru
Service 9 - 35137 miles 23/12/06 Lucas of Mansfield Subaru
Service 10 - 45283 miles 28/05/08 Lucas of Mansfield Subaru
Service 11 - 60508 miles 23/03/10 Olympia Service Station
Service 12 - 64093 miles 17/09/10 Olympia Service station (Cam-belt)
Service 13 - 66198 miles 11/06/11 Olympia Service Station

This car really is in fabulous condition. The car wants for nothing and only last week was invited to a shoot for Jap Performance who asked to use it in their buyers guide, such is the condition of the car.

The car drives perfectly and is very quick. The engine is extremely quiet, even from cold and has never suffered with piston slap. It does not use a drop of oil and has always been run on either Silkolene or Fuchs. The gearbox is quiet and selects all gears perfectly. There's no knocking from the suspension or any creaks or groans, it really does drive like a new car. The brakes work well and the calipers were recently refurbished and all look like new.

Pics..

Tha car is located in Northampton and i'm looking for £2800ono. My contact number is 07858900223.

Thanks

Dan

Forgot to mention that it has tax until March 2012 and MOT until July 2012, and it passed the last MOT with no advisories.

Ok guys, the Sti Type R I want has now become available, so i'm dropping the price to £2800, which is incredibly cheap for this car, I really doubt you'd find one anywhere near this condition for the money.

If it doesn't make £2800, I'll forget the type-r and keep this as it's not worth me dropping a penny more.

Thanks Scotty, I agree it's probably the worst time to sell a car and I normally would wait until spring if I didn't want this Type R so much!! Damn him and his Type R!!

No problem bud, it's one of those colours that divide opinion, and I think it looks better in the flesh. I was drawn to it as it's something different to the blue/black/silvers you so often see.

No more difficult than getting any other Subaru colour i'd imagine being a standard UK colour.

That's correct, only the MY00 cars got Mica Red, but newage cars also came in Mica Red too .

No probs, pop over and we can go out for an extensive road test if you are interested.

Apologies also, I dropped my phone at the gym earlier and it's playing up! I will grab my spare phone from the office in the morning and return your call.
