If I was to offer friendly advice, get the wheels refurbed and fit some valve caps.
Its the first thing people look at and it makes your car look a little unloved.
You are asking top money so it needs to be 100% in the current market.
Good luck!

With regards to the valve caps, I do have them all. The pics were taken after a wash and wax, and having checked the air in the tyres, the pics were taken before putting them back on lol

Your best bet is to browse pistonheads and look for "Spec C" and see what you get for 10k
Is your car over priced? in the current market I would say yes, if someone offered you 8k I would go for that, never good but its still about 1k above what you would get for a UK car with similar mileage.
Otherwise the car looks to be in really lovely condition a refurb on the wheels would set you back around 220 quid so it may work out cheaper getting a good set of 2nd hand STI alloys

I wish I could Kas, and looked at all possibilities of keeping it, but just not happening.
Thanks Big Fud, was starting to think the car has lost it's appeal. It is a great car and anyone that comes to see it will love it
Hi mate
I am in Richmond in Surrey. Only about 40 miles or so from Aldershot so just down the A3 or M3.

Cool that's good to know. Am very interested. Are you around Saturday? Could be interested in taking a look but I do need to sell my car first, but that should not be to hard to do.

Just out of interest, what car do you have (not looking for part ex just curious lol)? It's good that it wont be too hard to sell yours, as I do have someone else who might also be interested but he also needs to sell his one first.
Thanks

Ok mate. Will have a chat with the wife. Obviously you'll be happy to take me out but would you be happy for me to drive? Fully and totally understand when you day no lol.
I have a VXR8. Very nice and comfortable and quick car but it just not have the handling that miss from my Evo 8. So much so that I was 2mins slower around the ring, even with 70bhp more lol!

Two of my mates had evo 8s (one was an MR) and they are lovely motors. You'll like the handling on mine as the BCs are superb. Always wanted to go to the ring but never had the chance. If I ever buy another scooby (blobeye JDM STi all day everyday), I will definitely go to the ring

^^ I don't let peeps drive full stop fella, safer that way. Not even garage monkeys as whilst they may be insured for any car you can bet your bottom dollar that it won't cover the mods ...

Totally agree TX. It is too much to risk. The only person I allow to drive it is my dad. He is insured and has been fully briefed time and time again on what he needs to do lol. However, it's a rare occasion for him to drive it lol
