Car : Silver WRX 2001 'Y' PLATE, 69,000 miles, 10 months MOT, 5 months Tax, 4 New Tyres, RS GT 19" Alloys, Body work and interior in Good Condition...
Owned since 2006, Service book from 01-06, car has been SORN’d and garaged on 2 occasions for firstly 12 months for engine rebuild then again from Dec 2009 when I went for the complete EJ257 engine. (Car was originally 380bhp and it wasn’t as quick after the rebuild and also going from a hybrid VF34 to the VF35 but wanted a 2.5 short block before changing set up again). Having less and less time due to work commitments
Security : Gearbox deadlock fitted, RAC Trackstar, Clifford C5 Intellistart Alarm System (add on sensors)
Engine : EJ257 conversion using 2.5 bottom end, headers, turbo and uppipe with original EJ20 loom, sensors and intake.
(The new engine was bought 18 months ago from a WRX STi 08. And although its not done more that 8-10 miles MOT, its been started and run warmed most weekends)
TSL Thundercat, full 3" and decat, Morettes, Blitz FMIC, Defi Gauges, Eibach suspension, Turbosmart BOV, Clifford C5 Intellistart Alarm, 19" RS Alloys with 4 brand new tyres
Still to do : Car runs okay but have not had ECUTek ECU remapped yet...
3rd Gear Synchro set (£150 Graham Goode) needed as was removed when damaged, (was considering buying a replacement box - approx £300)
2.5 FMIC pipe (over engine type)required to replace the previous one which ran under engine from turbo to Intercooler. ... shown in pic I found of the pipe needed on somebody elses car..
(TMIC is fitted temp.)
I'm advertising the project as it is now - £3750 Car, Spares, Parts, Software, OBDII leads, Service Manauls, and related documentation .
