Default MY04 Standard STi Blue give away price

I am testing the water at the moment as I have no idea what the car is really worth.
I am selling my loved and trusted MY04 STi, I use this car most days and it has honestly never missed a beat.
The basics are as follows
MY04 STI
88k
MOT until end of April (but will do 12 months is its a deal breaker)
Tax until end of April.
UK model
4 previous owners
De tango's
Stainless steel exhaust

Apart from that its standard as I needed something easy to live with.

I will be honest, You will find cleaner STi's that are ready for show season but if you want a good solid well loved STi that does everything an STi should do then this is the car.
Like I said I use it almost every day so it does have the odd small stone chip and the odd scuff on the wheels but its far from untidy looking.
I have taken a few quick pictures on my phone today so you can get the idea. I will be taking the plate off and putting the 04 one back on before I sell it.
History wise its not missed a service, some main dealer some specialist garages.
Two new tyres, Brake pads have been changed this week.

Starts and drives like it should, no knocking, no smoke no weird noises. Its a real shame to let it go but due to my daughter just getting ready for a front facing baby seat and us trying for another baby, coupled with an increase in meetings with clients at work I need to move into BMW/AUDI land.

I am a genuine Subaru enthusiast and I look after my cars with no expense spared.

Due to the fact she has done a few miles and the state of the current market I Would take offers around the £7950 mark. I think this is a fair price for a good honest car.

Any questions give me a shout or if you have an Audi or BMW estate or a 5 series then maybe we can talk about a swap.

Cheers

Tim.

I think it is priced right.....sick and tired of sheds being sold for less, ruining the market.

I don't think you're too far off shame about mileage though

Mate am trying to sell mine too and think my price is more than fair. The Subaru Market is funny in my experience.

It really is, I have owned scores of imprezas and sometimes people are lining up to buy and other times it takes months.
All I can do is see someone wants to buy her before BMW take ownership of her in PX.
Good luck with your sale mate.

It's a fair price, stick with it.

I spent a good few months late last year looking at STi UK models 03 plate and up, bought a 53 plate same colour as yours, same mods for £8250 advertised for £8500. Car had done 53000 miles.

I would have looked at yours for sure and had been to see cars of similar milage for similar prices. Milage ain't everything, I'd rather an honest car with average milage over a bargain low milage with potential hidden extras

Someone like me will come along soon and bite your hand off

In fairness though with no offense meant, the bugs are less desirable to the masses. I reckon being a blob will improve its position a little.

Its horrible isnt it.
I will be pitching my MY05 STi with FSH and 62k on the clock at about £8500-£8995 in the next couple of weeks, it sickens me to give such good cars away at those sort of prices, but like people have said, its a buyers marker for these type of cars at the minute.

Best bid so far is £6600 so it looks like it will be going for that if no better offer comes along, seems cheap for such a good car.

Hi dave,
No PPP on this one I'm afraid, its pretty much standard looks and power wise. It has a stainless exhaust that gives it a lovely sound, I was told it adds BHP but to be honest I have never had it on a rolling road so I wont claim any extra power.

I swear it's a super clean car and it has been so well loved it's wanted for nothing.
