Will struggle to sell for that money these days though...Just hope the right person comes along for him as it's obviously been done properley.

looks a very clean car even underneath.bet its a hoot to drive too with 467bhp.glwts.

Agree with AlanPPP on the price issue.
Im after buying this model at the moment but dont want to spend anything like that amount.

£10k to £11K is about right for a big bhp Ver 6 Type R. I remember last year Big Fud sold that lovely grey Type R for £12k that had every goody thrown at it, some guy from Poland came over & bought it.

Yes kidda but that was in a league of its own 35k spent at tsl i did look at this but standard box put me off another 2500 for 6 speed thn its going into 15k ..good luck to new owner.

Also rickya that was well over a year ago don't think the prices of classics have held up that well over the last year or so, but good onto the seller as it did look a very clean car

V6 boxes are strong. Know of one running 450ft lbs for past 3 years still going strong. Gets a good hiding aswell.

Come on chaps, £10k ish for a scoob with 467hp seems OK to me. You don't get there by spending peanuts!

Can't have been trying hard enough I had a fully rebuilt V6 sti box break after 2k and that was only running a 20g on a 2.1. Maybe I was just unlucky all PPG'd up now so no worries on that part

It was a very good price .
I had 443bhp 525ft trq and i broke my ppg twice so went to a 6 speed there have been many ppg's broke in the past if u dont do 1/4 mile, sprints, or heavy track days you are fine but thats what i do so 6 speed now all the way for me ...
Just need to find a car for april first ring holliday for me for 2011
