Default 2005 Subara impreza WRX 300 (limited edition) For Sale

Due to recent baby and needing a more "practical" car I am selling my wrx 300.

Its a limited edition model only 300 made over a few months in 2005. (Not to be confused with the older "UK300 model" - although this is a UK car). It has several differences from a standard Wrx with the main being it comes out of the factory with the Prodrive performance pack as standard.

Full specification can be found here.

The car is in good condition and drives really well. It has a full service history and has just been serviced and MOT'd so neither due until Feb 2018. The cars just approaching 89k miles. Im only the second owner, having the car 2 years, the first owner had the car nearly 10 years. I have all the original Subara owners wallet/manual/service booklet and both keys etc

£7200

Sorry to say fella, that it is quite a bit over priced.
It's a nice motor but it's basically a WRX PPP with 90k on the clock.

I just picked up an 04 STI with 100k for less than what you are not asking. In great condition too.

Thanks for the comments.
Quite hard to value as there's not many around (only 1 I can see in the country on AT).

Maybe I'm putting too much value in the "Limited Edition" element.

Do you suggest a rough figure? (f I don't get any interest on here will put it on AT in a couple of weeks)

Cheers

Cheers

Cheers both for the comments and advice.

Had the car 2 years myself, the previous owner had it from new.

They were two 300's on Autotrader at 7k mark with one slightly higher one slightly less mileage which where I got my estimate from.

Not in a major rush to sell, just seems good time having just serviced MOT. If it's only worth 5k I might be better off looking for a more practical (smaller) pram! Lol

Sorry to say mate but those asking £7k+ on AT are doing what I call "Mug fishing" (not saying you are) I get that it's difficult to price when thinking it's something 'special' only real difference is blue seats from factory and gold WRX wheels, which isn't really that "special" A bit of a con on the part of Subaru UK really.

As for true value, have a look on AT at other WRX's similar miles etc and punt it somewhere in the middle, I think if you have a look you'll get an idea of where it needs to be to get rid.

Or like you say... get a smaller pram.

GLWS.

For reference I sold an '07 Hawkeye GB270 (equally difficult to value due to the lack of them for sale!) earlier on this year for 7k, which I thought was a fair price! The fella that bought it was a dealer who instantly put it up for 9.5k, needless to say its still there

I'd personally punt it at 6.5k an see if you get any bites - GLWTS

Covering the number plate wont help it sell either, especially when it has such a good MOT history.
