Fresh Import - 1995 V2 WRX STi - 61k Miles
SOLD
Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version 2 – Fresh Import
Registered on an 'N' plate - First registered in Japan, November 1995.
Fresh Import - Arrived May 2016 and first registered for road useon 1st June, 2016.
I have all of the import/export paperwork from Japan which will obviously go with the car – photo below. Japanese service history will also be included with the sale.
MOT due 25th May 2017 (10Months left) - No advisories. MOT tester commented, "It's like a brand new car underthere."
Showing 97,600km (60,600miles) - Extremely low for a 21 year old car! Stillreads in KM.
There's a sticker on the drivers door showing it had a 'Shaken' at 91,000km. Service history also backs up it was being driven on the road in Japan until it was exported to the UK.
Very good condition. Underneath is unbelievable - like new. All arches are like brand new - please see the photos.
Car has never been run on anything but V-Power since it’s import – I live about 1 mile from a Shell station which helps.
When I got the car there was some issues with the paint on the bonnet, roof and rear spoiler due to what looked like the sun. I believe this is quite a common thing for older cars that are sourced from Japan. There was also some stone chips onthe front bumper. I have had this repainted at great cost so the car is looking amazing at the minute. The photos just don't do it justice. Painted by a local guy who worked for Porsche but has recently set up his own business. Quality job. The painter has 2 classics of his own and he also commented on the standard of the underneath of the car. It really has to be seen to be believed.
The car is booked in to have a cambelt service at AS Performancein Birtley. Alyn is also going to change the gear linkage bushes to his upgraded version as it’s a little sloppy for my liking. From reading reviews on here, once completed it should be as crisp as it was back in the showroom in 1995.
It does have some mild modifications -
17” Technocast Corsia alloy wheels(forged)
Bridgestone Potenza RE-0R front tyresand Toyo DRB rear tyres – good tread on all
Rays wheel nuts – red originally buthave faded
V5/6 Red KYB STi Suspension
Braided brake line kit
5Zigen 3" CAT back exhaust
HKS mushroom air filter
MS boost gauge
Engine earthing kit
Blitz automatic turbo timer
Usual V2 STi spec, waterspray, carbon strut brace etc
The only faults I could pick with thecar are 2 very small ‘pin’ dents down each side. Should be very easy to sort with a paintless repair using rods. 2 small marks on the passenger seat, visible in the interior shot. Very small and should be able to be sorted with a smart repair - never really bothered me too much.
Selling as I let me heart rule my head when I purchased it. It’s too good to use as a daily and so I’m doing the sensible thing – clearing some debts and buying a small diesel run-around. Boring but needs must unfortunately.
This is a good honest car that will only appreciate in value. With Brexit and the Yen Vs. GBP exchange rate as low as it is right now, you'll be very hard pressed to get a clean car like this at such a good price for a fair while.
Price is firm - no tyre kickers, test pilots or time wasters please.
£5500
Exterior shots –
5Zigen 3” Catback exhaust– great rumble but not too loud –
Alloys – very small amountof kerbing. If I was keeping it I’d get them refurbished in a dark gun metalgrey/anthracite colour –
Stickers on the inside ofeach rim (alloys must be quite new) –
Interior shots –
Odometer shot (this willrise slightly) –
Asmall pile of thepaperwork I have to accompany the car. V5 shows no previous owners and MOT shows pass with no advisories -
Arches. Unfortunately I forgotto photo the drivers side rear arch while I had the alloys off for cleaning! Ican assure you it’s immaculate like the other 3. Photo quality may not be asgood as I used my phone for these shots -
I’m into my detailing. Here’s the car this morning getting a snow foaming –
28/07/2016 Update - Just took some photos of the underside. Unreal for a 21 year old car. You can see why the painter and MOT tester commented on the underside of the car -
£5500

Yeah, the mileage is verified. I have the export certificate which shows previous mileages and I also have dated service history which shows mileage too. The interior of the car is in great condition which also points towards the mileage being genuine.
