22b Bodied Wagon/Van
For sale is my 22b bodied classic wagon. Its been professionally converted into a van by the previous owner. The conversion has been declared to the DVLA and the vehicle class and number of doors ect.. have be updated on the log book.
A bit of history about the car. It started off life as a N/A wagon and converted by the previous owner who used to carry out the bodywork for Scooby Clinic. During the conversion it had a 2.0 turbo motor and loom fitted including FMIC and appeared at TOTB. Since then the car has had a N/A motor and loom put back in and that's its current spec. I bought the car a couple of years ago and added a few more bits to it as detailed below.
For those considering the implications of insurance, I can confirm I have the conversion/22b kit declared and the insurance premium is very cheap (Thanks Moley!)
The engine runs very well and is surprising economical getting around 35mpg combined driving. There is small leak from the rocker cover, not enough to stain my drive though.
Body
2 door/van conversion including bulkhead and plied and carpeted rear
22b Kit including skirts and bumpers
Full Crystal light upgrade (head lights, indicators, sides, repeaters)
STi Wagon rear clusters
18" Wheels recently powder coated with 25mm spacers, longer wheel studs fitted.
Carbon effect boot and roof, not wrapped but stencil painted & lacquered.
Engine
2.0 N/A Sport
S/S Back box
164,000 miles shown on the dash cluster but I don't know how much mileage this particular engine has covered
Suspension & Brakes
V4 STi shocks & springs, spring power coated in red & shocks painted black
Whiteline Rear drop links
4 pot front brakes
Interior
Blue STi seats fitted
DVD/SAT NAV double din
The body work would benefit from some minor repairs and paint, some areas are cracking and there are some small scratches and chips. Both front and rear bumpers would need paint depending on how picky you are. I have had the drivers door painted but the colour match is not perfect. The passenger window does not go down.
This is an honest add from an honest seller, please dont waste my time if your not interested. I wont consider a PX.
Taking the condition of the bodywork into account the asking price is £2,500.

It was originally a NA.
It was always my intention to convert it to a turbo, I had the engine, exhaust, a hawkeye box ect.. but had to sell them on.
The conversion is quite simple, you would need engine, box/diff and loom. Its got a facelift dash so most post 98 looms will work.

Still got this and been using it for my daily driver with no issues at all.
However, it's got a scuff to the rear bumper from a nice old lady reversing into me. As mention in the ad though the bumper could of done with a respray anyway.
I'm dropping the price massively as my new car arrives on Tuesday. £1200.
