**Subaru Impreza RB5 No 157**
Right so I have for sale my RB5, number 157 these cars are gradually going up and up in value, so these will only make you money in the long run.
Right so some details.
- Full extensive service History, there are receipts for literally everything that this car has ever had done or needed doing during its life even down to a headlight bulb. Pictures below of the two folders literally full, including original bill of sale.
- Full long rod engine build 50k miles ago, at a cost of £4150 with brand new parts bought, and built to the highest of standards.
- Complete new standard suspension set up, at a guess I would say the reason for this was corrosion.
- Rear arches rust free, this is a real problem on classics scoobies so I have just spent £1450 at my local Bodyshop that specialise in restorations on a full arch restoration, this included replacing inner and outer archs, once complete we decided to fibreglass the underside of both rear arches to totally prevent there being any issues with rust in the future.
- From new it was a WR Sport and also had the Prodrive performance pack fitted, I'm a bit unsure about what both packs consisted of but I believe to find one with both packs is quite rare. I have all the info on both in the folders so I will have a read up.
- 4 good Toyo R1R tyres, they have only done 5K miles.
- Bodywork is very tidy, a few small parking dents, but a small job for someone who wants to make it an immaculate example.
- 1 years MOT
- I have personally checked the rest of the car and it seems all in very good order.
All in all it's a very tidy example, that's had all the key problems fixed and prevented for the future. So I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed upon viewing.
Bad points now.
- The worst point is the high mileage, on the clock it's showing a little over 200k, this put me off to start with, but the car runs smooth pulls well and is a credit to the previous owner who obviously gave the car everything it's ever needed. The history shows that.
- Starter motor seems to keep spinning a little on start up, I have not had the time to look into this, but it's obviously not a serious issue and I'm probably just being picky but best to be honest.
- The centre console had a rubbish wooden venire glued on when I bought it, I have removed this but if has made the plastic gear surround look a bit tatty.
I had planned to rectify the small issues, but I'm in the middle of building my Evo with my dad so feel I would be better off letting the scooby go and concentrate on the Evo. Sorry I swore
I'm looking £4500 but will entertain sensible offers. Viewings welcome, the car is in dry storage so I would need a bit of notice if you intend to come and view.

Hi Jack,
I owned a WR Prodrive which now belongs to my sister.
Mine was made at Prodrive from a standard UK turbo.
This thread, which details mine when i was selling it goes into detail about spec.
It may help you with detail about the spec of your RB5.
