Default 2002 WRX STi Prodrive Style - Only 14k miles.

A regrettable sale of my 2002 Bugeye WRX STi Prodrive Style, which I’ve owned since April this year. Bought from a close friend of mine, this Impreza kept immaculate and was dry stored by him for just over 7 years (scoobynet member obie_1) meaning the mileage at the time of me collecting it this year was 12,900miles.

I am the 3rd owner of the car, reason for sale of it is to look at putting funds towards house deposit, perhaps I may be able to look for a type RA to replace this in the garage at some point too I am looking for the car to go to a true enthusiast again as with such a rarely low mileage it surely is a chance to own a clean, genuine car that still looks, smells and drives like new.

Specs:

2002 Impreza WRX STi Prodrive Style in WR Blue Mica (02C)
2.0 STi 265PS, 6spd manual, brembo brakes.
ECU is in standard tune.
Current Mileage is at 14,900 – this won’t be changing by anything drastic as the car gets used perhaps once or twice a fortnight – dry days only.
RAC Trackstar as standard – not active currently.
Genuine Prodrive PFF7’s & 225/40 ZR18 Pirelli P-Zero’s – unmarked and literally have covered approx. 2000 miles – receipt included for these included.
Prodrive Red Springs – Receipted.
Prodrive rear silencer – fitted at time of sale of car to my friend (car was purchased from Carstin’s Coventry)
I even have the laminated window sticker from when the car was up for sale at Carstin’s.
Never ran on any fuel aside Shell V-Power, or Tesco Momentum as a second choice.
Full HPi clear.
Air con fully gassed and still working.

Condition/history:

I have history stamped in the book for the following services:

10.04.02 @ 1002 miles – Carstin’s Dealer Service.
06.03.03 @ 8741 miles – Carstin’s Service.
15.03.04 @ 12302 miles – Carstin’s Service.
25.02.05 @ 12683 miles – Carstin’s Service.
04.06.07 @ 12946 miles. After this point the car was then dry stored.
11.04.14 @ 12978 miles. Brought back to life with the following items:
Service, fuel drain & refill, fresh brake fluid/antifreeze. Replacement timing belt kit. Note: The car was stored on it’s original wheels (sold separately) – the Prodrive wheels were stored away from the car and therefore not flatspotted or damaged.

Currently MOT'd until April '15 - no advisories on last MOT.

I also have several MOT’s backing up the mileage.
Folder of receipts for above service work, wheels and tyres, tracking, various other parts.

Minor Points:

The car has some light stone chipping to the front end, and a small scuff mark to the lower offside front bumper where I nudged an axle stand driving the car into my garage The car aside this is still it’s gleaming original WR blue paintwork, straight, with no dents or dings at all. No rust on any part of the bodywork, either outside or underneath.

Kept clean and dry, I have cared for the car with good quality polish and wax protection, the car only comes out on dry days.

Asking price is £7495ovvno.

I will be very sad to see the car go, it is a true example of a rare extremely low mileage, clean, straight car that drives exactly the way it did from the forecourt – I would go as far to say that you wouldn’t find a lower mileage example.

I’m in no huge rush to sell so I would like for it to go to a good home with a true enthusiast, who would want to keep the car in the same impeccable condition that it currently is, whilst also enjoying it. Please no timewasters – usual applies that I will be driving the vehicle unless sufficient funds are evident and fully comp insurance.

Hopefully I've covered everything, if anyone has any more questions feel free to ask. The car is based in Mid Cornwall.

Contact Nick on (07790) 570306 (Evenings only for calls please, can text during the day – I will reply as soon as possible).

Why don't you just get a quote beforehand and take the insurance out when you get there pending you buying the car, I'm sure the owner would let you use his facilities to sort out tax etc,

Car looks a "good en" and meets all your criteria!

This, why would you need 2 journeys? Any long distance car I buy its done there and then via phone and online.

Tax is now instant online took me 10 mins to do on the type R, there's a code on the new keepers supliment you use.

The car you want isn't going to pop up around the corner, this car go's above and beyond all your stringent requirements, bit of money left in the pot to tinker about with, couldn't sound any better, doesn't look like there would be any hidden gremlins etc, I'm sure one look on arrival would convince you, get down before you rue your chance!

I took 2 days out to do 2 round trips for my current car, on and off looking for the right one for around 6 months and when i found it went for it.

Looks a great car to me, put up or shut up I say.
I'd snap it up if I was looking.
