1999 Impreza Turbo Wagon £750ono
FOR SALE 1999 Subaru Impreza Turbo Wagon
£750 ono
Please read all of these details as it gets better as you read down.
Here is the honesty:
The reason for this car to be selling so cheap is that it has NO MOT, NO TAX and hasn’t moved since October 2013. It also has a few rust spots on the roof and on both sides at the rear just above the bumper, near the rear doors.
It has a few stains on all of seats but no tears or rips at all. There are stone chips to the front, quite bad in a few places. I also can’t show you the engine as the cable release is not playing ball and it smells a bit musky inside.
The 18 inch wheels were imported from America and are made by Axis. In one winter the English climate and salted roads just ate them so they are safe and strong but look really tatty.
The brakes are Tar.Ox six pot calipers and a 330mm disc conversion but again the winter has eaten them and they look rusty as they have been standing for so long. A long run and they will soon clean up.
Thats me being honest and now the good bits.
As it has no charge I cannot verify the mileage but I remember it being around 107,000. Just look at the service record, its virtually all Subaru and if the stamp isn’t Subaru then it was carried out by the main Subaru mechanic who used the work at Donalds Subaru in Peterborough.
All four tyres are virtually brand new, I also have the original five spoke wheels.
Just before it was parked it had a new clutch fitted and a lighten flywheel installed. Its last service was a major one and as the service book states it has a new cambelt and plugs. At the same time the radiator was replaced. This lot cost a fortune!
Inside there is a DVD playing head unit by Pioneer, £1500 when new. It has built in satnav and touch screen.
The middle section and back box are made from stainless steel. The centre cat has been removed but it still passes all the emissions test to get it through the MOT.
It has been on a dyno and made 237bhp, 180bhp at the wheels. The car is standard UK spec and has not been chipped or its ECU played with. Only a panel filter has been fitted.
The car has a Clifford G5 alarm with every extra possible. Proximity sensors, wheel nuts removal sensor, remote engine start and windows that close on lock up. Can’t tell you if all this works as the battery is dead. You have two fobs and two keys with the car.
At the rear there are some Lexus style clusters, I also have the originals.
It also has a Tracker fitted.
I am trying to be as honest as possible. This car isn’t the best you will see on this site by a long way but it has some nice parts, a really strong pulling engine and has never gone wrong in the 12 years I have owned it.
A mechanic or breaker could double their money on this but I am not up for breaking it or selling any parts on their own.
You won’t be able to test drive it and you will have to tow or flat bed it away at your own cost.
It has been a great family car but now its time to say goodbye.

Probably not fella, it would take too long to get it out. It also has a separate unit to plug other stuff into it under the glovebox. Sorry but i just want the whole car to go and not have a shell on my drive after selling parts separately
