Lovely car mate & GLWTS but just be aware that some nice examples of Spec C's have struggled to sell on here recently.

I appreciate what you are saying. Thankfully in a blessed position and have time on my hands as well as a dry storage unit.

Thanks for all the comments

It was listed as being in trainsit. The car was purchased a while back but had been going through the import / shipping process.

It has only been for sale as a UK road going car for the last 2 weeks.

Cheers

Not as easy as just paying £8k at a auction is it, been looking myself at importing a car, and lets just say a £8-9k car is going to cost you close to £13k on the road in the UK after your importing costs etc, even so if he is making a £2k profit he still has to advertise the car, and then sell it with a warranty, and overheads for his business etc, £2k is not a lot of profit is it???

Never meet Max or bought anything from Hurst cars, but people forget he has a business to run, and comments like this are not exactly going to help, if its so easy to import a blob STI Spec C Type RA for £8k then why are we not all driving around in one!!!

Flynn from MLR???

ive seen the cars you have imported so im guessing you know how to keep the costs down on importing!!!

Ive never imported a car, but I would be looking to go through a agent, and like I said before £8-9k cars at auction are coming back at £13k on the road in the UK.

you are either importing low grade lemons or you are bull****ting as to what you have paid to revenue and customs. We are doing neither. I wasn't overly keen on advertising on here because of comments like this but i thought i would give it a chance. If you can find me 5 spec c ra's at 8K in this condition, i will have all of them off you within 24hours and i kid you not. If you have imported 100's like you say, then you should be well aware as to the costs involved, risks involved, costs of doing cambelt, servicing, underseal and the after sales service you provide. No 2 businesses do business in the same way.

We know our costs involved in preparing a car to the standard we are happy with prior to sale. You make it sound like an ABC process. Would have expected more from a veteren. Do you pass childish comments on mlr too?

He has imported quite a few cars, as he is a long term member on the MLR and he has had some nice cars tbh, which im quite surprised with his comments on a "for sale" thread on here!!

This is his Audi R8 for sale at the moment!!!

One things for sure, if that car was blue it would be mine by now, still looks good in Red though! One small point though, aren't you a trader? This advert is in private sales?

Exactly my point. Don't like seeing people being ripped off.

The stuff in the advert like "1 careful owner in Japan". What a load of bollocks. Like he's met the bloke. It was bought from an auction!

Fack off back to MLR you muppet. If you've imported 100s of cars clearly you're a trader but your ad on MLR is a private ad. Pot, kettle and black?
All you've come here to do is **** stir.

I'm not a trader. It's my personal car. Just use it to run about in.
