Default £4995 Ono Subaru Impreza sti version 5 recent engine rebuild

Hi, First of all my computer won't let me upload pics so below is a link to my ebay add for those who want to see pics of it:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Imp...item2a43121d5c

Price: £4995 but open to offers

For sale is my 1998 gun metal grey subaru Impreza wrx sti version 5 import. I bought this car in April as a second car. In may the bottom end started knocking. I then started looking into which specialist to give the car to and found very good reviews about api in leamington spa and people recommending Api to me. I got in touch and handed the car into them. They spent two months rebuilding it and it cost me in total £3693 for the rebuild. I drove the car off boost for the first 1000 miles then took it back to Api in August to have it serviced and checked over. The car has been run in now and has in total done 1659 miles on the new engine. I have all the invoices for the rebuild and servicing from api. I have plenty of other invoices too for other parts. The car comes with warranty from Api too up until january/ 6000 miles. This car has had no expense spared at all.It has been washed weekly and polished frequently. It has tax until end of December and mot till august 2015. Due to having to travel more because of work and not getting the time to enjoy this I’m after something that’s a bit better on fuel and more refined so would px for a civic fn2 type r or a Bmw 330d m sport. The spec of the car is:

  • Subaru mahle pistons
  • Subaru rebore and hone to suit pistons
  • Subaru gen crank
  • Subaru acl raceline bearing kit
  • Subaru gasket and seal kit
  • Api modified oil pump
  • Subary gen v5 maf sensor (Comes with 12 months warranty from scoobyclinic)
  • New timing belt and tensioners
  • Full straight through exhaust with decat
  • Walbro fuel pump
  • New coil pack
  • Tein coilovers
  • Front strut brace
  • Front mount intercooler not connected at the moment is running with a top mount as I was advised by api it will run better this way unless I want to run a lot more power
  • Vented and grooved front and rear brake discs and pads
  • Braided brake lines all round
  • Prosport gauges
  • Front p1 lip
  • Crystal headlights and side lights
  • Brand new Pipercross induction kit
  • New speedo converter
  • Sigma alarm with certificate
  • Samco hoses
  • Kenwood double din headunit
  • Sony 6x9s

I may have forgotten to list one or two other mods but if I do think of anything else will update. The only bad point to the car is it has the usual stone chips on the bonnet and alloys could do with a refurb.

Please no time wasters or test pilots. Px for fn2 civic type r or bmw 330d m sport. The car is priced at £4995 but I am open to offers

Hi mate, Just a word of advice: it's not uncommon for people to check the post history of those who are selling cars and if there are any threads with "outstanding issues" it can deter buyers.

With this in mind, you might want to update the following thread that you started back in Mid Aug.

Hi yeah I did it was the maf sensor which was causing the issues. Scoobyclinic replaced it for me and have given me 12 months warranty with it too.
