Default Misfiring and check engine light

Had my version 5 sti impreza rebuilt and just been run in. Hasn't been remapped has mods like full exhaust system and induction and fuel pump. Today at 4500rpm it misifiried and check engine light came on. Now it won't go over 4500. What could the fault be?

You should really be remapping with the mods you have done. Who did the rebuild if you don't mind me asking?

Api did the rebuild. I've handed it into scoobyclinic for them to check it out.

Got it checked out by scoobyclinic and it was a maf sensor that was causing the issue. They've put a new one in plus given me 12 months warranty with it
