Default 2.35l 700+bhp blobeye

never thought I would ever do this and I'm not sure I want to really do it but, after months and months of not using the car anymore,i have decided its time it has to go.before I start, this isn't a car that's worn out and needs everything replacing.this is a car that I have spent thousands on over the past years but just havn't had the time to use it for the past couple of years.at the beginning of this year I had a 2.35l engine built by enginetuner, which has only covered approx 2500 miles.most of which are running in and mapping.i fitted the won nitrous kit which has only seen the mapping session and never used since.the rear discs+pads are almost new,the coilovers have only covered a few thousand miles, the race fuel tank is almost new with 2 new bosch fuel pumps.this isn't a show and shine car,it does have the usual age related marks but is in overall good condition.some of the interior is stripped out, including head lining+rear seats+sound deadening.i do still have the headlining,a set of f+r sti8 standered seats and 4 spare doors in same colour.which will all be included in the sale, along with half a 205l drum of methanol.so can be put back to standered if needed.the car was mapped by paul blaimire(zen).
test next march taxed till end oct.genuine 45000 miles on clock
at 2.1 bar boost it produces 670bhp on 25%meth+vpower.
at 1.9bar boost with a little nitrous it produces 709bhp.

Nah then arf, really shocked that I've seen this thread. Thought it would never happen tbh as you've spent the earth on that car.
That a real car somebody will get and I'm sure I and others can vouch for you and this motor.
Not that it's needed but glwts.

Stunning mate GLWTS - wish I had the money. I'd have it at the asking price no problem. It's a bargain at that price.

thanks for the nice comments guys.tbh I think if the car does sell then I will have to let someone else do the deal, cos I don't think I could watch it being driven away.its been a labour of love for many years now but I hate to see the weeks going by and it just gathering dust.the only time I get to use it is in winter, when the work slows a little.but then all I do is spend more money on it modding it further only to get busy in summer and not use it.not sure what I will buy next but it wont be a sports car cos nothing will compare.unless I bought a Veyron .it will prob be some kind of 4+4 that I can get the dog in with plenty of room.thats me sounding like an old man now.

Hi mate, long time no speak!!!

Crikey me I always knew you had that secret weapon stashed away but good god seriously that is one maniac car...

With an Enginetuner build prospective buyer can rest assured it's built to perfection... AND to last!

If I had not just started really enjoying my rs4 b7 so much mate I would be in touch seriously!! UNLESS.....?? Lol

All the best pal

Absolute ridiculous price Arf.
You'd get so much more breaking it. Sad to see you sell it, but understand your reasons.

Best of luck mate, worth at least £5k more

well the day has come.a mate of mine came to look at the car last night,i think it sold soon as I took him out for a drive.he made a good cash offer on the car and on the wedssport tc105n wheels I bought and only ever test fitted to the car for a couple of hours.now normally with a car like this the new owner would want to get used to the car for a while.but he said,i want to take it to York raceway tomorrow.tbh I'm a little worried about handing a car over that is as mental to drive as this is,but I suppose atleast he is on a track on his first day getting used to the car.so I'm up early, going to drop the oil and put some fresh stuff in for him, change the wheels over and get the car ready to do something that I would have loved to have done in it.so if anyone is at York raceway today, they should see it run.thanks again for the comments lads.really appreciate it.

I knew this wouldn't take long to sell, big specced cars like this don't usually *** up for sale for less than 20k, as frayz said it would have broke for more. If it was an Evo 8 with similar spec it would have been for sale at 25k IMO

I went along with ryan, the new owner.to York raceway yesterday to see how the car performed.the weather could have been better as it was raining on and off all day.to say it was his first day in the car.he did really well.his best time was a 10.5 sec run but he hit the limiter in first and missed third gear on that run too.so I would say on a dry day once he gets used to the car there will be a low 10 in there easily.i was dying to have a go but its his car now so I hope he gets as much enjoyment from it as I have.just feel like I have lost a part of my family at the moment, but got to move on now.just carn't make my mind up what I want to replace it with just yet.

That's sad arf,

Depends on your requirements for next car?
Hatch, estate, jeep, power, 4wd, luxury, cheap runabout etc etc.

For buster you'll need at least a hatch, unless he sits on your lap

I must have looked at a million cars now,the car I would really like is a 997 turbo.but I have just bought a house that needs some cash spending on it.so I think my plan for now is,get rid of my little fiesta diesel cos its a bit too small.go buy a land rover discovery 3,seeing as winter is on its way.should have the house done over winter.then if I can save up,i think in a couple of years I should be able to get a nice 997 turbo.but I know what I'm like at saving up(useless).so there might be something a little sporty on its way by next summer.lol.

Arf long time no speak, I bought an interior off you a few years back. just seen your post very sad especially knowing what this kind of HP level takes to achieve. Had a 997 Turbo for 3 years, my sti at the time with a MD321T was a quicker street car. If you want to pay £1100 at Porsche for an oil change to keep the "must have" Porsche history up then its the car for you! Personally Id go and drive an Atom, virtually half the price of a 997 turbo and totally impractical so you won't feel guilty if its in the garage on a rainy weekend! PS I ended up buying Shawys built 2.5, Paul B mapped it at RCM last Friday. Shawys sends his regards, good luck in your future motoring conquest, im sure you will be in another Sccob before long. All the best!
