Default 1997 Classic Impreza Sti for sale Price dropped!!!

Hi guys!
The time has come to say goodbye to my Subaru which I owned for past 6 years.
I know in condition the car is at the moment it would be easier to let it go for parts, but I'd like to see it going in one piece.
I am looking for a quick sale so I hope the price is right according to the cars conditions.

So the car is 1997 STI imported in 2003 if I remember correctly. When I bought it it had something over 100k on the clock. Now it is 150ish but engine said good bye two years ago so it was swaped for an STI block with 70k on in my friends garage after hours therefor I don't have any record of the swap except PayPal proof for purchasing the engine.

So the good bits.

  • Walbro fuel pump
  • 440cc injectors
  • NGK spark plugs
  • td05h turbo
  • bloob eye exhaust headers /Heat wraped
  • decat downpipe
  • Full exhaust
  • front mount intercooler
  • cold air intake
  • It is all managened by Simtec ecu with anti lag and launch controll enabled maped by Cp autos.
  • It has 3 point boost solenoid
  • Goodridge braided brake lines
  • apexi lowering springs
  • Brakes are standard except the brake lines mentioned above
Interior.

  • Bucket seats
  • 4 Point Takata Harnesses
  • Omp steering wheel
  • Sparco snap-off steering wheel hub
  • White dials
Body

  • Standard except Classic Carbon fibre spoiler
  • White 17" wheels of unknown brand.

Now bad bits.

  • Car is currently SORN because I planned to make a great project of it but I recently started my own business and is not going as well as I planned that's actually reason for sale.
  • Bodywork was all covered in stickers for a long time so there is still residue from those on but I think that nice polish would get rid of it.
  • there is a bit of a rust on a drivers side pillar and on the drivers doors.
  • Front and rear bumber could use a respray.
  • And it could use a rocker cover gasket change.
So that's all.I tried to be as honest as possible car drives great it just needs some love and a little bit money spend and it is gonna be great car...or the less preferred option you can use it for spares as the are some nice parts on it.
Thank you.

Price £1300 ovno

And sorry for the bad pictures I took them today with my phone.

I've just recorded this short clip just to show you start from cold.
As you can see there is also no smoke coming out of the car

I'm not trying to argue with you or anything...it's just that over the years I don't even know what it is. But yes block was swapped so I am sure about that.
And the car has no M.O.T since last August when I actually parked the car and planned to build it properly.

just saying mate!! if it was an sti you would have half clear rear clusters at the back, pink anti roll bars underneath, sti clocks and sti etched into the seats (both these look changed though) little sti badges on both front wings plus some other little details i forgot?
proper way to find out is to look at the identity plate under the bonnet and put the gc8****** code into google!

anyway i am keeping my eye out for a cheap wrx possibly with m.o.t and some tax, but yours has none :-(
is there any way you could mot it and tax it?

Well I won't be able to do M.O.T and tax because I just want to sell the car as soon as possible because I am going abroad for a month and I could really use some extra money.
I can drop a bit of the price as an compensation for that.
