I am managing the sale of this car for a very close friend. It's also listed on Pistonheads (http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...--2007/2277932), however as a Subaru enthusiast and active member of NESF (North East Subaru Forum) he really wants it to go to another Subaru enthusiast to carry on the good work and look after it.

With much regret I have for sale my 57 plate fully forged Subaru Impreza 2.5 WRX Hawkeye in my personal favourite colour, metallic World Rally Blue. I really don't want to sell this car, it’s the best car I have ever owned and probably will own for some time, but I want to start a family so this car must go. This car is a part of me and I have lived and breathed it into what it is today. A 2007 Impreza WRX Hawkeye - Fully forged with top quality parts.

First registered 1st September 2007. I am the 3rd owner and acquired the car on 26/09/2011 and it has extremely low verifiable mileage of only 35,080 miles on the clock.

It has had a fully forged engine built by well-known North East Subaru Specialist Andy Kindon and the build was completed on 5th January 2013 at 27,516 miles. I have done 7,564 miles on that forged engine to date. It was remapped with Ecutek Racerom by Bob Rawle on 21st February 2013 at 28,816 miles after 1,300 miles running in. It has dual maps (1.1 bar & 1.6 bar) with launch control, flat foot shifting & auto blip downshift in race mode. Running 404 bhp & 440 ft/lbs torque with delta dash graph to prove.

SUMMARY
I have spent a lot of money on top of the range branded parts and I have all receipts and invoices for parts, servicing, upgrades, and work carried out, etc. All upgrades have been done in the last 18 months. There is no finance on the car and I have a current HPI report to prove this. The oil & filter is changed every 2,500-3,000 miles with Millers CFS 10w60 NT oil and genuine Subaru black oil filter. Some of the North East's best Subaru specialists have been involved in helping me create this car – the late Harvey Smith RIP, Darren Moore @ DLM Auto's and Andy Kindon @ A & S Motors. I have all the documentation, including emails and invoices to prove. As you will be aware the Subaru 2.5 WRX or STI engines have an inherent weakness in that they regularly suffer from failure due to cracked ringlands and this is a well-known problem. For my own peace of mind I had the forged engine build carried out as a preventative measure only and this engine is now bullet proof and will comfortably handle 450+ bhp.

Bad points about the car are the usual expected stone chip's on the bumper and bonnet, dent on the near side passenger door and very light scuff on the off side bumper. All very easy to correct.

Asking price is £8,695 OVNO considering the investment in the car, comprehensive service history, its current condition and very low mileage.

I am based in Bedlington, Northumberland for those wishing to come and view/inspect the car, which I highly recommend you do to appreciate the condition of the car.
