Hi

Will get some photos later , as just finished a nightshift!

But photos of build and details of what was used are here
https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...sti-wagon.html

Standard Sti V5 heads / pistons
I did all the rebuild work , using one of my friends company's for tools / ramps and his knowledge as he runs "Ignition Motorsports", a Subaru and rally prep garage

Regards
Neil

It's the old how long is a piece of string question. I'd budget a grand at least but that would depend upon what other work you had done at the time, as in while it's there you might want to remove any stone chipe or have the dent man in.

Pm cuprajake and see what he says, he's a good lad and as straight as they come, just like you mate.

Near manchester, but his work is top notch, just have a word and see what he says , might be able to put you onto someone a bit closer to you, but should be able to give you a good idea of cost.

Very nice wagon (wagons rule, right?)

First dibs on the P1 springs if the car goes without them

As ditch says you really don't know how bad the arch is, even if there is a little hole or rust. However, my type r had a small hole and it had only taken a tiny bit of the inner and after welding in a new arch made from a front wing and sorting the inner arch its solid. Its a rear quarter and door paint at least.

For an import that's only been in the UK 6 years I would suggest its minimal rust. Its the UK cars that suffer the worst.

Hi there ,

Cheers matey ,
Unfortunately the kyb and pi lowering springs are now fitted to the car , along with a nice set of upgraded front brakes brakes
Since the ad was posted I have purchased a Dccd 6 speed complete set up along with a set of new rear brembos , and a new competition clutch stage 2 ( from Aztec rated at 600bhp) ) which are all due for fitting 23rd August
Alcatek is going to be fitted in September , in time for japshow finals at the pod
Then October/November , she is going in for the arches and the odd blemish sorted out
