Default 2008 STI Hatch Fully Forged Engine by API Engines Ltd

Hi guys. Im selling my newly aquired toy as my girlfriend is once again pregnant. (Shes like a baby machine. Lol)

2008 STI Hatch
58k
White
5 Months Tax
4 Months Mot
£15,500
A standard example will set you back at least 12.5k-13k. For an extra 2.5k you will be getting a bullet proof veraion of a fantastic car with no worry of ringland failures etc which will set you back a minimum of 3k just for drop in pistons.
this car and its extra s is worth every penny. I would love to keep it but as im getting older im realising that family really does come first (cliche i know. Lol)

this car is awsome. Has sooo many extras ill miss allot im sure.

it has had a full engine rebuild 3k ago:
Engine:............
CP Pistons
Cosworth H Beam Rods
Nitrided Crank
ACL Race Bearings
Cosworth Head Gaskets
ARP Head Studs
Cosworth High Rev Valve Springs
New Valve Stem Seals
Ported Head Ports
Huge Top Mount Perrin Intercooler
Full Miltek Turbo Back Exhaust Inc Sports Cat Downpipe. Will pass an Mot.
Samco Red Hose Kit
HKS Intake
Stage 2 Exedy Clutch with 5k use.
Mapped by Duncan @ Race Dynamics to 370bhp - 412lbs/ft

All engine work is backed up by over 15k of reciepts
All work can also be backed up by calling API Engines for the bottom end build and Wilks engines for the top end build and porting work. Duncan will also know of any work done to this car.

Brakes:
Uprated Drilled and Grooved Disks
Brand New Mintex M1144 Brake Pads

Chassis:
Perrin Bushe Kit
Front Cusco Strut Brace
Rear Cusco Strut Brace
Underside Cusco H Brace
Tein Suspention and Shocks

Interior:
Carbon Wrapped Dash
Bluetooth Stereo
Fully Dynamated
Deffi Gauges, Oil Temp, Water Temp, Oil Pressure, Boost (Bar)
Deffi Link

Exterior:
Red Tinted Rear Lights.
The rest is all Standard so is a complete sleeper ( well as much as an STI can be I suppose)

bad points:
slight bubbling of alloy wheels
slight stone chipping to front but that is expected.

I will get detailed pics up shortly.
Pm me for more details etc and I will pass over my number.

Thanks

Fantastic spec, someone will get a bargain in one of the best colours too.
What are the M1144 pads like?

They are very good pads actually. Imo better than some of the other performamce leaders. That said I use it on the road. For track they may not be that good.

Its not too pricey considering the sheer amount of money put into it.

it will easily be able to take 550-600bhp according to api engines. So is great for someone looking to utilise the build and create a monster.

It is yes. Api said that safely 450-500 is doable. It could take more but imo it would need a semi cdb or a cdb to see 500+. As we know though a 330s STI hatch will hit 0-60 in 4.4 im sure 450-500 will be more than enough for most people. After 450bhp in my eyes its unneeded power. This runs 370 and is very very hood as it is.

Bump!
Where do you think is best to find the correct buyer that knows what they are looking at.

eBay, Autotrader or Pistonheads?
I was thinking Pistonheads??

Hi. I could be interested in this. I've been out of the fold for two years but my current Audi 2.0tfsi is soulless. I'm looking at getting a forged hatch BUT it will be my family daily driver so can't be too loud or too heavy on the clutch for the missus.

Tbh the clutch isnt actually that hard. It bites like a normal clutch but with all imprezas they are a little bit hard to hanfle compared to your average. Its a great family car imo. I would keep it for when the baby arrives but I need the cash to support the baby so its a catch 22. Its not too loud at all. The miltek sounds very nice but is tame conoared to sime iv heard. If its not being revved its no louder that any other high powered car as its just a nice low rumble.

pm me for my number and I can chat over the phone if need be.
