Default Need somebody to split my blob headlights

As above please

I have the de-tango mod with the black painted inside but I have bought a drivers side headlight with an air feed going through it,it's been de-tangoed but not had the inside painted black so I need somebody local-ish to do it for me.i can't do it as im a ham fisted oaf

Obviously drinking vouchers will be provided

just get a heat gun, literally all you do is take out all the screws and heat it up and pull.
its really not technical fella.

I used a hair dryer to do mine didn't trust the oven, it's pretty easy to do loads of threads on it.

yeah sod it i will give it a go.

is there any hidden screws?

what are people re-sealing them with? tiger seal perhaps?

I did mine last year, if you've got the black insert to go in I don't mind doing it... But haven't got the patience to sand them down and spray them again! They seal back together when re-heated.
Let me know,I drive past Hinckley pretty much everyday on the way to work.

ah nice one geezer,i have the black insert from my current headlight but it will need drilling/cutting as i think the air intake passes straight through it

Hmm sounds like its above my pay grade! If you can get it cut etc to the right size then I'm happy to split the headlight etc and replace, but dont want to take the risk where drilling and cutting get involved! Drop me a pm if you get something sorted , I quite enjoyed doing mine...

im not sure if it will or not to be honest

heres the headlight i have bought

basically i want to replace the inside with my black insert and then replace the whole rear fitting as my current one has good clips and the one i have bought in the link has a broken clip
