Don't know if I want to fit one...????
Do they get in the way while driving..?

Anyone know of one going cheap as if I don't like it it won't stay.

My cars going race look without playing with engine..
Want it to look ok.. Any ideas..???

The Blobeye STi scoop's proportions/size are all wrong on a GC8, IMO.

But what does look good though is a Bugeye STi one! It's in the same style as a Classic facelift (MY97-00) one, but the shroud is slightly higher, giving a more open scoop area. Andy Forrest had one on his old Sonic Blue Type R V-Limited, which he entered in TOTB III. Check out the video of it and you'll see how 'pukka' it looks on the Classic.

If you were to fit the Bug STi one, then if you have a phase 1 MY93-96 car, you may need to fit a facelift bonnet to accept the scoop (not certain on that though). If it did need the bonnet, then you may as well give it the full facelift treatment, with the facelift headlights, bumper and indicators... Just a thought.

i have just got one to fit to my facelift ,have not fit it yet in the middle of spraying it , the main reason I got it because I just fitted a wrx bug inter cooler
