You can use my car as a guinea pig if you like.
I have a 97 gc8 with the facelift bonnet which covers the gc8 range from 97-2000.
I personally like the ones that are multi slatted, slightly aerofoil profiled blades, would prefer a mesh under-piece.
Needs to be light, cheap (as there are loads on ebay ranging from £85 to £140) and fill the standard aperture EXACTLY.

I would be really interested in these, especially with the two side vents aswell.
I want something that looks aggressive and angular like the headlights for the classic. And possibly with quite big gaps to show off the reversed manifold etc!
Although what I do find with the standard ones is it just let's rain in to sit on the engine and makes the screws rusty etc!

I would want your scoop to be the size of the moulded bit in the bonnet, plus 10mm all round as a "picture frame".
that way you wouldnd't see the the gap between the bonnet and the scoop that you do with standard stuff and other manufacturer's kit.
