De railing wagon roof!
Anyone got a wagon and taken the roof rails off? I am toying with the idea but am unsure of the work involved. Please can anyone shed some light on this? Or if anyone has done it post up a picture?
I have done it on a bugeye wagon. You need to remove the roof lining which requires you to remove the rear trim and then there is four bolts that hold the roof rails on each side. Not a massive job, put an afternoon aside and you'll have it done.
yeh you are left with 4 gaps where the roof bars were bolted in , probably best to get another spare set and fill them in thats what im planning on doing , mine is sitting with 4 gaps looks ****e lol ....think theres a company does a derail kit or something best to ask Jura on here he had his done...
