Front windscreen and Window frame?

Default Front windscreen and Window frame?

Hi,

So my front windscreen is cracked and all of the window frame (The plastics) from the front to the back is off (it wasn't held on very good) where can i get this all re-done and will / could it go through insurance?

So do you need the top trim, and or scuttle panel (plastic trim where wipers are) and the roof trims that go down the sides of the screen?

i have the parts, but it seems the sealant is broken on it, the parts all look fine (except they have some rank sort of old sealant on them

you will need a new set of trim clips. Some windscreen fitters choose to bond the side mouldings rather than replace any broken clips.

If you have the screen changed, the fitter should bring a new top trim and a set of new clips for the roof trims as they break when removed.

Ah, so is it best going through insurance for new window?

Would keep the cost down for you, whos you insurance company as they all use different windscreen companies.
