Think I've mounted my splash guards too far in?
I've just mounted some Performance Creations 'mini' mud guards on the front of the wagon. The aim was just to reduce little stones and tar flicking up on to the lower section of the front doors.
I wanted them to be as subtle as possible and do the job, so I mounted them fairly flush. One once I stepped back I looked down the line of the car and hadn't realised that my wheels sit out so far so the flaps aren't exactly covering the outside of the tyre.
At the moment, I'm fighting the OCD and resisting the urge to run out and change them straight away (the mounting plugs are a proper swine to get back out once they're in).
I know I should just suck it and see if they work, but opinions would be gratefully received. Should I leave them be or go out in the driving rain and refit them further out?
