Default Where to get spoiler brake light?

My scoob has what I think is an aftermarker version 6 spoiler but for some reason does not have a brake light.
I can't see any way of fixing a brake light on so I am just wondering how they are fitted and where could I get one?
Been searching and all I can find is spoilers with brake light and don't seem to be able to buy separately.
Any ideas???

It was obviously designed without one. You can get a 3rd brakelight to go on the parcel shelf, if you really want one. Or get a different spoiler.

Agree with Joey fitting one to your existing spoiler will prob be a no-go as wasnt designed and if you fit in the airflow area the resistance will prob pull it off.

Go for an internal one which you could glue to the top of your rear window ??

Sorry that was a bad description.
It does have the slot that the brake light fits into but for some reason its not there.
the wiring is there from old spoiler so should be easy to hook up.

What I was trying to say is..
How are the genuine ones fitted into the spoiler? screwed, glued etc

I would post a picture but no idea how.
How would I identify a genuine spoiler from an aftermarket?

Well in the end I just used a flexible LED strip from ebay for less than £3.
Cut to length and held in with silicone.
Not bad for the price if you don't have a centre brake light, better than just having a random hole in the middle of your spoiler.

Nice job. I've just bought some flexible LED strips on ebay. didn't realise how versatile they are, as you can cut every 3rd LED off for the desired length.

You get quite a few people on here asking how to solve the broken LED brake lights on non genuine spoilers. Looks like you've come up with a definitve solution.

Looks good.
The genuine ones are held in with two machine screws from below, spoiler off job to get at it
