What is you goal from your springs? Looks, or performance?

I ask as the Tein S-Techs are more a styling spring as they lower the Impreza by a good 35mm. This is not good if it is performance you're after.

'Prodrive' (Eibach) lowering springs lower by 1" and do not cause any detrimental handling issues

I had apex 30mm lowering springs on my classic before upgrading to some BC coilovers, I was happy with the quality and look of them on the car. So am sure blobeye ones will be as good!

Cheers hopefully getting some tein's off eBay. Do they dramatically reduce handling? Eventually want to put some coil overs on. But got a few things on the shopping list 1st ; )

I would strongly advise against Tein's if it's performance you're after. They over lower the Impreza, which does not like lowering

You need to be ultra careful with the Impreza. Remember it's a rally car, and the suspension is pretty well sorted from the off. Lowering it lowers the roll-centre, which actually causes INCREASED roll.........not advisable.
