Folks, im looking at changing the front end on the bug to a blob. Ive done loads of searching but have had various conflicting answers

Has anyone done it? Im aware i need wings,bumper,bonnet etc. i dont fancy cutting out the old and welding in a new front core support so my question is

Can i just replace the headlight supports (or get a chargespeed kit ) or do i need a blobeye top rad mount?

Any constructive advice welcome

I think ABW modified a bugeye and fitted a hawkeye front end. Have a search under projects. Have you not thought about going down the hawkeye route rather than blob??

Hello mate, the reason I'm thinking bugeye is cost and the relative simple works to mod the front end. I'm presuming with the hawk front mod I'd have to do loads more...and I guess the parts will be much more expensive.
